The hotel room is not very big, but the location is good and the front desk service is in place.

The hotel's breakfast is very good. Most of the people staying in this hotel are foreigners, and there are very few Chinese. It is pure European style. The room is not big, but the decoration is very classic. Can experience pure French style.

We stayed here for four nights. We were upgraded to a superior room facing the back. The room was quiet and clean. Staff was very nice and helpfull. Breakfast was great despite limited choices (it is a very small hotel). The location is very central, and close to metro lines but on a relatively quiet street despite quite a few open restaurants/bars on the same street. Rooms are small but that can be expected in paris and especially in old buildings. The hotel is named after the nearby theater and has a strong nostalgic theater theme. The only downside to that was that the room was a little bit dark even with all the lights on. We would certainly love to stay there again.

Just returned home from a 3night trip to Paris with my partner, and we couldn't have made a better choice of hotel to stay at. We booked the suite which was well worth the extra money, this is an independent boutique hotel so the rooms are quite small but the suite we had was perfect. The decor reflected the parisian charm, we had two french doors that opened onto the street and flooded light into the room. The room was spotlessly clean and very well kept. The bathroom exceeded expectations, with a tv screen fitted into the bath and traditional shutter doors. The bed was probably one of the comfiest we have ever slept in, and had lots of wardrobe space. The staff were extremely attentive and nothing was to much to ask. The location topped off the stay as you are central to all main tourist attractions, which can conveniently be visited on foot. We checked out at 12 on our last day but weren't catching the eurostar home whilst 9:15pm, the staff had no hesitation in us leaving our luggage at reception whilst we enjoyed our last day in Paris, and we had a fair bit of luggage and shopping. I can honestly not fault our stay in the slightest, and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location with 5mins walk to Opera, Auber and Madeleine station as well as Roissy Bus station. There is a Carrefour on the same street so very convenient. It is located near main street and there are still a few light at night so quite safe for girl travel alone. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although the elevator and corridor are a bit dim and feel like cannot calm down... (As I was travel alone, should be better if there is a companion)

Me and my wife stayed here for the weekend for our anniversary. We both loved the hotel and the location. The interior is fantastic, the smell of the hotel is amazing and the staff are sooooo polite and friendly. We had the Parisian breakfast which was very nice especially the cappuccino. Our room while small (which is what we expected) was lovely, the furnishing in the bathroom and hotel room overall were of the highest quality. The whole hotel was impecibly clean. The location was fantastic and not more that 5/10 minutes walking distance from shopping areas and sightseeing attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay here again.

My husband and I, stayed at Maison Athénée last weekend for a business matter. The hotel is located close to Opera and famous Galeries Lafayette. Also, there is a great restaurant nearby. The hotel is truly boutique, everything is spotless. We were surprised to receive a 5-star service. The breakfast is tasty and personnel is very customer oriented. We are very pleased with the hotel, and totally will be coming back again.

Lovely hotel from first sight but didn’t anticipate mice at breakfast. This hotel is beautifully decorated and rooms appear clean and tidy. Problem is that mice are obviously allowed to take over ground floor where breakfast is served and left to roam at will among guests. Hotel staff, when alerted to presence of mice, are nonchalant. Hotel management, when alerted, are also nonchalant. Would not recommend this hotel though I’m sure this problem could easily be resolved.

Tucked away in a great central location, near bus stops and shopping area. The hotel is an intimate space. Very theatrical in appearance. Romantic decor. Candles and drapes in the foyer. Very atmospheric in the evening. Suitable for adults, but not ideal for children. Rooms are small, but adequate for a city break. Well equipped with bath or shower ( or both in superior rooms) . Toiletries provided once during our two night stay. Plus hairdryer, safe and gowns/ slippers. Towels are of a high quality. Comfortable and very clean. Beds great too. Air conditioning works, and windows do open wide. But we had no view nice unfortunately. Just a dingy courtyard Quiet at night. Even with windows open. Small salon at the rear of the building used as a bar and breakfast venue. No restaurant as such. Decor is very dark and lighting in the rooms is very poor. Reading lights provided by the bed. No make up / shaving mirror in the bathroom. Staff were all charming and very helpful. We asked for a kettle to be provided ( none in the room) . This wish was kindly granted. No coffee machine provided. No phone chargers in bedrooms. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely return.
Response from Property: Dear Rosie, We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that you liked Maison Athénée's decor and ambiance. We aim to continuously enhance our offerings to ensure a memorable experience for all our guests. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Kindest regards, Sylviane Sanz - General Manger

We just stayed at this super cute hotel and would certainly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and ready to help with anything you need. The location was close to the Opera Garnier, many metro stops and you can walk to the Arc de Triomphe or Louvre. There are lots of restaurants and a little grocery store on the street as well. Over all, I enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again. (The rooms are cosy and I thought the bathrooms were a decent size for Paris 😁)
Response from Property: Dear Melster, We're thrilled to hear that you had a fantastic experience at the hotel Maison Athénée. Thank you for your kind words and for recommending us to others. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another memorable stay in the future! Warmest regards, Sylviane Sanz General Manager

Pros: - nice decoration inside, staff very well trained and polite, good breakfast and water pressure - located close to nice part of the 8th just cross the street - beautiful building Cons: - bathsoaps are not nice, just plain almond when in France you have so many intricate scents to choose from - very cramped spaces throughout the hotel - no down pillows or comforters, bedding more in line with a 3 star if anything - extremely noisy/busy street if you have a street facing room be prepared for heavy traffic during the day, its a major through street for Opera even though it says its in the 8th its really on the border and in a very commercial area; at night restaurants have outdoor seating and people stay late talking lout; right near Olympia where major concerts happen and people pour out in the hundreds often drunk. If you have a noise sensitivity its def not a peaceful location - transfer to the airport would have been nice but they charge 200 and a taxi costs 60 so not sure how that makes sense... - for some reason there are no towel hooks anywhere in the bathroom so if you're two people in the room you have to share the bathtub area to lay down your towel but then it just stays damp. - despite downgrading rooms on my last night due to noise the hotel refused to pay me back the difference, a small courtesy of a free drink or something would have been nice to compensate but no gesture in line with the hotel star rating was made.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, First of all I would like to thank you for choosing Maison Athénée as well for sharing with us your experience during your stay. Guest such as you enable us to maintain the high standards of services expected from us.
