Trendy Canettes Hotel

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Trendy Canettes Hôtel! The location is perfect – right in the heart of Paris, in a lively area full of restaurants, cafés, and shops at every corner. The rooms are charming, clean, and tastefully decorated, offering the ideal mix of modern comfort and Parisian charm. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. I felt right at home! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic getaway in Paris, in a welcoming, modern place with professional staff. I will definitely return!

A gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location, really close to the Metro. Breakfast was continental and tasty. Highly recommend

Accommodation was cosy and the best location to get to a lot of Paris attractions. Bars and restaurants all very close by, wonderful stay and very helpful staff

Our room was very clean and clearly recnetly renovated. It was all in good shape. They let us leave our luggage (in a corner of the lobby) as we arrrived before 2pm, and gave us ourkey cards as we would be back late. We came back later in the evening and our luggage had been put in our room for us. The room was cleaned fully the next day, beds made, towels replaced and garbage removed. The front desk staff was very helpful. we also stored our luggage on the last day and came back to get it later. There is also free coffee, tea and water in the lobby at all times, which was nice. we did not pay the extra for the breakfast, but saw that it was available. lobby has a clean nice bathroom, and front desk staff was very helpful, professional and friendly. Cleaning staff did an excellent job, very impressed with how clean and nice the room was. Just to warn those with mobility issues, there is one flight of stairs to the lobby, where the elevator is, and we were on the 6th floor, and elevator only goes to 5th. so we did climb 2 flights of stairs each time. Also to warn anyone with issues in tight spaces, ethe elevator is very small, max 3 people or 225kg so all 4 of us could not fit, esp with luggage. we once found it wasn't coming and it turned out someone had left the exterior elevator door open on the 3rd floor (Which we found by climbing the stairs). but our room was nice and clean, had two twin beds and one queen (one twin on the main floor with the bathroom, but over the bed is very sloped, may bang your head) and the others up a narrow staircase. It worked fine for us. Bathroom was very clean and new, better than any other hotel bathroom I have had in France. But the ceiling in the shower is low, and water pressure very low. at night, hot water was gone, but in the morning it was fine. So may depend on how many others in the hotel are using the hot water. They did send an email warning us it could be loud but we were there a Monday and Tuesday, so didn't have trouble. We were also on the top floor. The person in the singel bed did say they heard some shouting at 2am one night, but others didn't hear it. They did have ear plugs in the lobby for free. But personally we didn't need it. I can see on a Saturday night it could be loud as there are restaurants on the street below open pretty late. but worked out fine for us! Also, There are multiple plugs and a usb and usbc plug in by the beds. was very convenient. there was individual control for AC in the upper and lower levels of our room, but strangely the two TVs seemed to be on the same remote, so turning one on turned on the other, same with changes to channels. but we didn't watch tv really, so busy doing stuff. Overall we had a good stay, it is a good location with many restaurants nearby, close to the metro station, and Epic grocery (upscale monoprix) very close by. I would definitely recommend it, but be aware about the stairs if you have mobility issues. this is the view out of the

Brilliant location in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres, a wonderful district full of beautiful bars and cafes, and within a few minutes easy walk of 3 metro stations, 10 mins to the river Seine, and less than 30 minutes from Gare du Nord. We each had a single room which was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The downsides are that our rooms were absolutely tiny and very cramped - only about a foot between each side of the bed and the wall (although the space was used pretty well) and our windows looked out onto a wall so there was almost no natural light. Also the proximity to so many bars and cafes meant that it could be quite noisy at night, even 4 floors up! They provide tea, coffee (one tea bag/sachet/ milk portion only!) and water but none of this was replaced when my room was cleaned and my dirty coffee cup was just left. I was told I had to get water myself from the cafe 2 floors down which was fine but the opportunity to help myself to things wasn’t mentioned when we arrived so I wasn’t able to make the most of that during our short time there. Finally - there is no lift from street level and a steep winding flight of stairs to the reception level. Even though my case was quite small it wasn’t easy to get it up the stairs and I was worried about my elderly father doing the same. Anyone with any mobility challenges would find this very difficult I think and should be made aware before booking. There is a lift from the 1st floor to the other floors but it is small. In short - great location for exploring Paris, and clean comfortable rooms - but I was glad we had lovely weather and could be out all day while we were there as I wouldn’t have been able to spend much more time in that tiny, dark room!

Lovely experience in a great location. Nice room with a big and beautiful window that could open up. Helpful staff. Only negatives must be that the walls are not soundproof, so we can hear quite a lot from the next room and the street in the evening. Did not bother us much though since we were so tired in the evening that we fell asleep right away. Thank you for a lovely stay!
