There are only 2 bathrooms for over 20 people every floor and only one socket to charge every room. The facilities of the hostel are too old and like a refugee camp. Also, the breakfast is too simple and lunch and dinner are charged for £6.6, it's too lucrative but not delicious. Dislike.

Nice hostel with good breakfast buffet, the bed is clean and toilet in each room is nice.

This is a Youth Hostel, not a 'backpackers hostel', so while there are plenty of young people staying, there are also families, school trips and older adults. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a private 2 bunk room with shower (no toilet). The rooms are very basic but include a wash basin, and have comfortable beds. There was clothes storage and a table and chairs. It was much larger than hotels I've stayed in in Paris. There were two sockets in the room, which weren't very accessible, but with an EU plug and 3m cable they were fine to charge phones from. The doors were heavy (as in most hotels) and toilets were shared, meaning it could be loud with people moving about at night, however earplugs easily blocked the noise! Breakfast was included, which was a varied and fresh offering. There was also a well equipped guest kitchen with fridges. Guests can use the refectory for socialising and eating meals, there is also a games room/bar with entertainment. The location was in a residential area with good transport links, but also walkable to central Paris in under an hour through other residential neighbourhoods. On Saturdays most intersections had a food or flea market. Ideal for traveling on a budget.

It is actually quite all right for being a youth hostel. One downside is, that they don't have lockers in the rooms. There is a locker room downsrairs, where it gets at least videotaped as your things get stolen. It is possible to chain your suitcase to some structures, depending on your bed. No checks who enters the youth hostel. Two electrical sockets in each room, so a multiadapter would be handy. Breakfast is included.

We were at the youth hostel for 5 nights in a 9 bed female dorm room. Our first impression wasn't the greatest but we were to be corrected. The rooms are totally fine and there is a power outet at every bed. The bathroom should be renovated but is still okay. The breakfast was satisfying and the guest kitchen provided everything and even had a induction stove. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The location of the youth hostel is really great as it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the city centre with the metro.
