New and clean, perfect everything

From the time we entered the hotel, until we left one week later, we were thoroughly pleased by the hotel and its staff. The rooms were clean and attractive. The beds were luxurious and comfortable. The staff was attentive, efficient and so helpful when it came to advice about the neighbourhood and the entire city, Amir, the manager, the girls at the reception desk and cleaning and breakfast staff were wonderful. The breakfasts were incredible. We could live in this hotel fulltime,

Excellent location halfway between Notre Dame and the Pantheon, and literally steps from Boul St-Germain. Rooms were the quietest I have ever experienced in Paris - we did not hear any of our neighbours. Breakfast offered a perfect selection including hot and cold items, more than a typical continental spread. The minibar was restocked with free juice, water, soda on a daily basis. We stayed in a superior room which was a generous size given the city location. Our teenage sons stayed in a standard, and they said the size was fine. This hotel was a definite gem in the Latin Quarter, and we will definitely be back.

We stayed at Hotel Des Carmes by Malone for 6 nights in July on our family vacation to Paris. It was a wonderful experience right from check in to check out, and it is at a great location in Latin Quarter. The front desk staff was always courteous and ever willing to help with anything we asked them. They were prompt to reply to emails before our arrival (which was delayed by a day due to flight cancellation) to hold our rooms. The rooms were very clean, tended to everyday, and kept ready for us after our daily sojourns. Comfortable beds and great shower. The included breakfast made it easy to start the day well fed. Even at departure, the manager was very helpful in getting us a taxi to the airport. And, to top this, because the taxi charged higher than what the manager had mentioned earlier, he went over and above and insisted on refunding the difference because he took it upon himself as his mistake. This was impressive customer service that will remain ingrained with us. We will return to this hotel whenever we are in Paris again.
