The room is very clean and it is worth recommending

The room is quite big, new and clean, the environment is sanitary, and parking is free. Although it is on the highway side, the soundproofing effect is very good, it is quite satisfactory for the transition overnight.

All is perfect: location, panoramic views from the terrace, very clean, comfortable and modern building with good taste.

NewStar Hotel is a fantastic hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staffs are kind and nice. The manager Urs is a real gentlemen. Hope everyone will book this hotel and I'm sure you will have a wonderful journey in St.Gallen!

Overall facilities very good. Staff also polite. But experience with catering is below expectation. I had dinner in the hotel on the first night, and choices were limited and expensive. I had a fish but found out half cooked during serving. They just took the remaining portion into the kitchen and re-cook it instead of replacing a new one. Breakfast on last day was also annoying. Our orders of egg was delayed/forgotten ! After chasing, my wife's hard boil egg order became soft egg. And my fried egg order never came and I just gave up. I guess visitors of the property typically has a car and I strongly recommend people to have meals outside.

The accommodation is very well located, near the city centre. The rooms are very clean. When booking via a platform something had not been successful, the support has solved the problem immediately and then I could check in without a chance. I didn't find a furnace. A small waste pad in the room would also be good. Pictures are not hanging in the room... it is very spartanian and cool furnished. But would book again at any time if needed. Price for 1 night absolutely OK! There is a large and modern parking (Einstein). For short-term parking it is very expensive. From 16:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. I paid 45 CHF.

It was the lowest hotels but it was €110. No Wifi (it is supposed to be there but impossible to receive the SMS code on my French mobile and no alternative solution proposed), no lift (3 or 4 floors to climb, I believe in my respect), Not a climate (but fortunately a fan because he was 31 outside), there are only 2 parking places affected at the hotel and no court.
