Donghai Hotels with Parking

I fell sick on the third day of my stay. The hotel room attendant was very friendly and constantly checked on my well-being. She recommended a clinic just opposite the hotel, as I needed one. She even offered to guide me there if necessary! Her kind gestures made me feel heartened. Overall, the service provided by the hotel was amazing and cleanliness is good. The hotel’s location was convenient, with a supermarket and several eateries available nearby.

The service was so bad it didn't feel like a chain restaurant. They tried to get a membership card as soon as I walked in, saying there would be a discount for extended stays, but in the end it wasn't even as cheap as booking online. They just bundled up my laundry and put it in a bag; it was wrinkled when I took it out. The front desk said they were out of large cups of coffee and had to split it into two cups, one for me and one for her.

A stay that exceeded expectations! From the smiling greeting at the lobby reception to the welcome fruit pre-prepared in the room, every detail was thoughtfully thought out. The room was as clean as a freshly opened gift, and the bedding was so soft I couldn't get up once I laid down. The floor-to-ceiling windows faced the city at night, and sitting by the window with a cup of tea and daydreaming was a welcome relief from a long day's fatigue. The breakfast selection wasn't amazing, but each one was exquisite, and the freshly made wontons warmed my stomach. Upon check-out, the front desk even asked if I wanted a snack to take on the road. This feeling of being valued is worth staying here again and again.

The room is spacious, and the stand-up AC cools down very quickly. Downstairs is quite lively, and there's free underground parking available. It's also very close to the high-speed train station and Crystal City.

This stay experience really exceeded expectations! From the beginning of stepping into the hotel lobby, you can feel the enthusiasm of the staff. The check-in speed at the front desk is very fast, and the surrounding convenience facilities are also intimately introduced. The room was very clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the fatigue of the journey was relieved when I lay down. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, the water pressure is also very suitable, the quality of the toiletries is good, with a faint fragrance. The breakfast is very rich, both Chinese and Western, the ingredients are fresh, the taste is very good, especially the freshly made noodles, the master craftsmanship is superb. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, not far from the subway station and the business district, travel and shopping are very convenient. In short, no matter the service, environment or cost-effectiveness, I will choose this one next time I come here, I highly recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful hot springs and nature, but come prepared! We stayed in a luxury cabin in the Donghai Hot Spring Resort. Overall, we had a nice experience, but there are a few important things international travelers should know. The Positives: Hot Springs & Nature: The hot springs were wonderful and very relaxing. The nature surrounding the resort is beautiful and peaceful. Great BBQ: We really enjoyed the barbecue area and even grilled some delicious shashlik (skewers) there. Helpful Staff: The girls at the reception were very kind. They helped us book a taxi to Donghai Railway Station for 100 RMB. Upon check-out, they also gave us a lovely Lianyungang souvenir magnet, which was a very sweet touch. Things to Consider: Room Outlets: There are no European-style power outlets in the cabins. We asked the reception for an adapter, but they didn’t have any. Luckily, we had our own power banks, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to charge our devices. Bring your own Chinese plug adapter! There is a possibility to rent a power bank in main building though for 5 RMB/hour. Breakfast: The breakfast is purely Chinese style. Do not expect Western options. We had noodles, seaweed, eggs, fruit, and Coca-Cola. It was fine for us, but good to keep in mind. Location: The resort is quite isolated. If you do not have a car, it is very difficult to leave the property or get around on your own. We enjoyed the hot springs and the peaceful vibe, but the resort could improve by providing international adapters for foreign guests.

I looked at several hotels on the website, and finally chose this one because of its convenient location. Unexpectedly, what impressed me most after staying here was that the front desk service was very enthusiastic, the breakfast was very nice, and the room that you can upgrade with extra money is also very large. The hotel is in a good location. It is in the center of the county. It is surrounded by complete facilities and has a lot of food. There is a pedestrian street not far away, where you can eat, drink and shop. It is also very popular. The front desk is very considerate. I have always liked Jinjiang Star. It is the best value for money.

Location traffic: The hotel is right next to the bus station, a few minutes walk, catching the car, transferring the car is super worry-free, there is no need to get up early; downstairs is the large free parking lot, self-driving is not worried about parking problems, too friendly to the travel party! Room facilities: The twin room is very spacious, the bedding is clean and soft, and it is particularly comfortable to sleep; the basic equipment such as TV, desk, hot water bottle are all complete, the room is cleaned very clean, and the living is safe and comfortable.
