The dishes are delicious. I ate two meals, a traditional chestnut chicken and tofu, a home-cooked meal, all very good, not expensive.

The hotel has a great location, right at the east gate of Elephant Trunk Hill, making it convenient to enter and exit the scenic area. The hotel environment is nice, especially the stir-fried dishes at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor, which are reasonably priced and delicious. You can also buy the owner's homemade special soy sauce pork. Highly recommended!

We had dinner at a restaurant next to the owner's place; the food was good, but why not provide a simple breakfast for hotel guests? 😂

We had dinner cooked by the boss's wife, home-cooked dishes (we ate a little salty that day 😂). When we sat in the yard and leaned back, a succulent flower pot on the shelf fell off. The boss's wife said very considerately that we couldn't blame the guests because they didn't put it well. After arriving at more than ten o'clock in the morning, we went out immediately and came back at more than three o'clock in the afternoon to find that a tire was flat. The boss immediately found an air pump to add some air first and told us the nearest repair shop. In short, staying here is a bit like visiting relatives and staying at relatives' homes. It's close to the scenic spot. The boss's wife sent a tour guide. Others have said it, so I won't go into details. I didn't give it a full 5 points because the road to the B&B is a bit difficult to drive, and I don't know if the long nail that pierced the tire was caused by the side road. This cannot be blamed on the B&B, but the surrounding environment is insufficient. In addition, because it needs to conform to the style of the B&B, the convenience of ordinary people cannot be compared with that of a hotel. Later, we found that another road was smoother. You can pay attention to it when you stay here in the future. In addition, for some reason, after we checked in, we suddenly found another B&B with exactly the same photos. I forgot to ask the owner.

This was a very weird hotel experience. Firstly, the staff is great and were very responsive to any issues I had. That being said, the hotel has seen better days. I changed rooms, but both rooms had very dirty carpets and bathrooms which had traces of molding on the silicone connections, and the windows were, in my opinion, small. The showers were clean, but the hairs were not removed for a long time, and the water drained very slowly. During my stay, I even saw a small gecko run across the bathroom... The AC unit is terribly loud too, and I couldn't sleep the first night almost at all because of it. I later got used to it, but it still gave me troubles during nighttime. On the third day, around 8:25, the cleaning staff barged into the room unannounced. Even though I was awake, this created an awkward experience... Later, when they came again, they only quickly knocked before coming inside again... The hotel's breakfast is minimal, and poorly prepared. I'd recommend skipping it, and getting something from the street in front of the hotel instead. The location of the hotel is good, being only a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to the Mount Longhu scenic area entrance.
