YYida88Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Wuyou Stayhill Resort in Sanbao Village, Jingdezhen, and it was a truly wonderful stay. The location is excellent—about a 20‑minute drive from Jingdezhen city—yet set in a quiet village surrounded by mountains and many artist studios, cafés, and restaurants, so there is always something interesting to explore. The hotel also provided free rental scooters, which made exploring Sanbao village easy and really fun. Waking up each morning to the crisp mountain air was already the perfect start to the day.
The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; our six rooms were all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with quality bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very comfortable stay.
The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after.
We particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast each morning. After long days of sightseeing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a good night sweat desert soup awaited us, making it feel like coming home every evening. On Christmas Eve, our sweet dessert soup was accompanied by a beautifully written poem wishing us all a Merry Christmas, a thoughtful touch that showed how the staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Sanbao Village.

SShanquanliThe hotel is built into the hillside with a courtyard style, functioning as a comprehensive conference center. It's surrounded by lush greenery, creating a beautiful environment. It's also very close to the Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum. Check-in and key collection are done in Building 1. The breakfast restaurant is located on the first floor of Building 1. I stayed in Building 3 (opposite Building 1); the room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The bedding was clean and comfortable. While the room layout and facilities were a bit old-fashioned, they were well-maintained and perfectly functional. We received a complimentary snack pack on the first day. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the dining area was spacious.

SShiyi .This B&B's location is absolutely fantastic, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The room itself is very spacious and cozy, with all the amenities you could possibly need, and it's spotlessly clean with no strange odors. The owner is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond with their thoughtful service, and their genuine hospitality really shines through. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, making it a truly easy and reassuring stay. Highly recommend!

Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny.

Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further:
- The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible.
- Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief
- Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite
- The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance
- There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F
- Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area
- Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language
- Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter)

The location is absolutely perfect – step out the back door and you're right in the Taoyangli scenic area and the Imperial Kiln Museum, which is incredibly convenient. The courtyard, a feature of the renovated old house, offers a stunning Chinese aesthetic, and the modern amenities make for a comfortable stay. The front desk and concierge staff are warm and attentive, and overall, it offers great value for money.

KKabuergaoyangThe location is great, within walking distance to Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Block. It's so convenient to walk there for night views and the market in the evening. Getting to other attractions is also easy; it only takes about ten minutes by taxi to the Imperial Kiln Museum and Sanbao Village. The hotel service was excellent; originally, the room only included one breakfast, but when we checked in, they saw there were two of us and proactively added another one. It was also very quiet at night. I'm very satisfied with this trip.

GGuest UserThe biggest headache for travelers is choosing a hotel. It’s really hard to choose. Fortunately, I have a unique vision and chose this Xijiantang Art Hotel. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the large balcony on the third floor is no worse than those Internet celebrity hotels. Super movie. I thought I was in a resort hotel. The location is perfect. It is very close to all attractions. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. Opposite is the river view. You can enjoy the breeze and take a walk. The hotel is clean and tidy with complete facilities. The sister at the front desk Very welcoming, breakfast is also great, very suitable for the taste buds of out-of-town babies, highly recommended

GGuest UserI had a pretty good stay for a few days. The room cleaning was very thorough; the staff even cleaned the corners. The projector was great for watching 4K movies, and surprisingly, I could even access some member-exclusive content directly. It was really nice to just relax and watch movies in the evening. The dry/wet separation in the bathroom was very convenient, and the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The zero-pressure pillow was just right, and my neck didn't complain at all. For breakfast, they had local-style fried dough sticks, twisted doughnuts, and handmade wontons, all tasting authentic. The restaurant staff were very attentive and proactively asked if I wanted refills. I was also surprised to find they offered free laundry service; they washed and returned all my business shirts. The attention to detail in their service was truly impressive.

GGuest UserI don’t write reviews unless it’s extremely good or bad. This might be my worst hotel experience ever while traveling in China. I ended up switching hotels because of point 3.
1. I booked for a non-smoking and quite room, ended up with a room smells like cigarettes. You can tell my smelling the curtains and the room walls. After complained, they changed room for me. I can smell the cigarette the moment I walked in. Then I ask to change it again, they refused. They said that I can sleep here for the night then they’ll consider changing the room.
2. I found stains on the sheets and ask them to change sheets. It’s the night staff’s first day working, and she doesn’t know how to change the sheets and make the bed properly (untrained employee being put on a night shift the first day working).
3. Then, they contacted the manager and finally changed me to another room. The security person came up and delivered the new room key. Honestly, this is the main reason I decided to switch hotels. He asked me: “What problems do you have?” I felt threatened and not safe. I said, I just want to sleep in a non-smoking quiet room. I am the customer and I paid to stay here. Is that a problem? He laughed. The way he looked at me gave me chills. It’s not a security person, it’s literally a g***ster off the street.
China is a safe country but not this hotel.

When planning my trip to Jingdezhen, my expectation for accommodation was simply ”a clean bed would be fine,” until I stumbled upon ”Grassland Freedom Youth Hostel.” It completely reshaped my perception of hostels—this isn't just a place to settle for, but a delightful surprise that blends design, convenience, and a sense of community. Located in a modern building, the hostel's atmosphere upon entering is completely different from traditional hostels. The carefully designed warm lighting, the warm roselle tea offered by the receptionist during check-in, and the friendly introduction to the facilities on each floor—this meticulous care made me feel incredibly comfortable. The ”luxury” details far exceeded my expectations. ”Luxury” isn't about ostentatious displays of wealth, but rather the quality and thoughtfulness evident in every detail. I stayed in a four-person room, expecting typical metal bunk beds, but instead, I found custom-made solid wood beds—sturdy and quiet. The mattresses provided excellent support, and the high-thread-count cotton bedding resulted in a surprisingly good night's sleep. The individual lockers are equipped with electronic locks, providing a great sense of security. The bathroom is a highlight, with a thorough separation of wet and dry areas. The showerhead has strong and consistent water pressure, and it uses well-known brand toiletries—a rare detail in hostels. The most interesting aspect of this hostel is its interconnected micro-community. The second floor, where I stayed, is the vibrant hostel headquarters. Young people from all over the country spar in the communal kitchen and share their travel stories in the lounge area, creating a free and lively atmosphere. Just one floor up, on the third floor, is a professional foot massage parlor. After a long day exploring Taoxichuan and the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, my feet were exhausted. I could simply go up to the third floor for a professional massage and relaxation. The benchmark for quality in the entire building is the Intercity Hotel on the fourth floor. Out of curiosity, I went to check it out. Its decor, room amenities, and service level are comparable to a high-end business hotel, though a bit pricey at five or six hundred yuan a night. The tranquil atmosphere complements the lively second floor perfectly. The allure of ”Grassland Freedom” lies in its precise understanding of the core needs of modern young travelers: a desire for stylish and high-quality accommodations coupled with a down-to-earth social atmosphere and exceptional convenience. It uses the affordable prices of youth hostels as its entry point, yet offers experiential possibilities across multiple budgets. Whether you're a solo backpacker or a student seeking value, you can find your comfort zone in this unique building. It's more than just a hostel; it's a clever proposal for a travel lifestyle.
