Highly Recommended Guesthouse This stay was excellent! The guesthouse owner picked us up from Xinhua South Station and provided us with travel tips along the way. The guesthouse is located in the heart of the Ziquejie Rice Terraces, with views of the terraces from the rooftop. The rooms were very clean, and the aerial photos of the terraces taken by the young owner were fantastic.

I stayed here for a few days, and overall, the experience was quite reassuring. The room was spotless, and the bedding was very clean, making for a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast tasted good; while there wasn't a huge variety, it was satisfying. The staff were very attentive and polite whenever they knocked on the door, never disturbing my rest. Plus, there's free parking and laundry service, which is a big relief for those traveling by car. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in the area.

The B&B is located in the Zixuanjie Terrace Scenic Area. As soon as you enter the gate, there is a row of B&Bs and restaurants. There is a restaurant on the first floor, accommodation on the second floor, the room is OK, there is no terrace. Because it is the off-season, some B&Bs are not open, and there are more tourists coming to stay and eat. Opposite the homestay, you can see the big stone monuments of the Zixuanjie terraces, and a large demonstration field of various rice. The photos are very good.

The situation is beautiful with stunning views across the valley and the terraces. The host was so very welcoming and warm towards us. My husband doesn't eat meat but that was no problem for this lovely family. We shared delicious dinners with them with a variety of food and my husband could choose the vegetable dishes he prefers. Next day our host kindly took us out in his car to the furthest viewpoint and we spent happy hours wandering about, taking photos and meeting lovely local people. It is true that the beds are much harder than at home in UK but we slept well and were cosy and warm so that was no problem. The only bad thing was we couldn't stay longer
