An Unexpectedly Perfect Homestay Our first homestay experience and it absolutely nailed it. The hosts felt like long-lost local relatives from the moment we arrived. The hostess welcomed us with freshly harvested organic corn, and the warmth never stopped there. They even took us along to a family gathering at a relative’s home for a full lamb hot pot feast, where we came as guests and left as family. The location sits at the end of a quiet street, facing a sprawling blueberry farm. What first felt a little raw and remote quickly revealed itself as pure charm, thanks to the complete absence of traffic and the total stillness that surrounds it. The whole area has an untouched quality to it, with unspoiled landscapes, fresh air, and a pace of life that feels beautifully removed from the modern world. A lovely lakeside park is just a short walk away, and the nearby farmers’ market overflows with local produce, rare vegetables, and street snacks you won’t find anywhere else. The homestay itself doubles as a quiet art gallery, as the host and his son are artists whose works cover every wall beautifully. Highly recommend. Come open-minded, leave with memories.

I saw countless hotels and homestays before I traveled, and finally chose this one. The reason is that the evaluation is clean and tidy, and there is plenty of parking space. This is my must. Staying for 12 days, the hotel provides different scented tea every day, and poked my preferences. I think the breakfast is very rich. I tasted every breakfast on the first day. As a result, I was not hungry until 2 noon. The breakfast sister was also wearing a hat. The little beauty at the front desk, the children were super polite, the training was excellent, and the hotel was located on Maitreya Avenue. We are driving by car, the car is parked, and there are buses to the attractions, which is very convenient. Not far from Honghe Water Town and Huquan Ecological Park, it can be reached on foot. There is also a Qingfeng Park behind the hotel. Finally, I mentioned the hotel firefighting. Because on the evening of the 24th, extreme weather caused a power outage. The alarm system rang in the middle of the night and asked to evacuate through the security channel. This found that the hotel's safety channel is very perfect, there is a small garden directly to the backyard, all in the external stairs, there is also a very wide emergency channel inside, although I was awakened in the middle of the night, but this kind of fire makes people feel very at ease If I have to say the shortcomings, then I can also say that the carpet in the public area of the hotel is not my favorite color. 😂

During the Chinese New Year, most hotels significantly inflate their prices, but this hotel's rates didn't seem to surge too drastically in comparison. The staff here are all quite enthusiastic. We booked two rooms, and one of them wasn't ready when we checked in (this might have been a slip-up due to the overwhelming number of guests during CNY). However, the manager personally came to apologize and explain the situation. A nice touch is that the hotel provides complimentary fruit and milk daily. The location is also very convenient; there's a delicious braised chicken rice noodle snack shop right downstairs. It's a great spot for families with kids.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, particularly because of its quiet atmosphere and attention to detail. The room I stayed in featured an onsen-style bathtub combined with a shower area, and I appreciated that the hotel provided a bottle of sanitizing solution to enhance hygiene and guest comfort. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel also offers self-service laundry facilities, including washing machines and dryers on the rooftop, which is very convenient for longer stays. Guests are also welcome to use the rooftop onsen pool, providing a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing. Although the rooms do not come with a minibar, the hotel compensates by offering complimentary ice cream and additional bottled drinking water at the reception level. While the ice cream was not delicious, the extra refreshments were a thoughtful touch. It will be good if the hotel not to allow guests smoke in common area such as dining hall for breakfast. Overall, this hotel stands out for its peaceful environment, cleanliness, convenient access to food and park, and thoughtful amenities at very reasonable room rate. I would gladly stay here again.

This time, I stayed at the Venus Hotel with my child, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hot spring area had many pools with excellent water quality; a soak there was incredibly relaxing. The swimming pool water was clear, and the environment was spacious and great for photos. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, and check-in was swift. My child loved the hotel. It’s definitely a top choice for a family vacation, and I'll choose to stay here again on my next holiday.

Room looks exactly like the advertised picture. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. As all the rooms are located on the 2nd floor and there is no lift or elevator, a male staff helps to carry our luggage to the room. Room is big and is near to almost all attractions. An unexpected perk was the bathroom heater light—a total game-changer after a shower. Downside: no lift / elevator. Breakfast is way too simple. A bowl of “mixian” & an egg will be served separately along with few items like steamed peanuts, mantou, sweet potato from the buffet area. No fridge in the room. Very quiet area at night. With minimal food and activities. There is one 7-11 in the park, with operating hours till 7pm.

I heard people say it was good online, so I booked it specifically because I wanted to go to the nearby Xinjia Yuquan hot springs. The facilities are quite new, the environment is nice, and the cleaning is also quite clean. It is very cheap to go to the nearby area to eat the flower pig, which is about 5 yuan. If you have a thin quilt in autumn, you can sleep better at night. Because I am not used to eating the chicken rice noodles, there is a small shop on the left that can cook noodles with wild vegetables. It is delicious. It is really good to install a hand-washing sink on the street in a small city. The snacks in Laomi Le are not delicious and expensive, but the taste of home is cheap and affordable.

The service was excellent, and it was super convenient to get to the scenic spots. The hotel environment was quiet and comfortable. The shuttle to the attractions was on-call, which saved us a lot on entrance fees and sightseeing vehicle costs. It was incredibly good value for money! If I come back, I'd love to try out the hot spring villa.

A relatively cost-effective hotel! It's hygienic and clean, and the environment is beautiful. I like the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room very much. The service is attentive and the location is great. Huquan Ecological Park and Honghe Water Village are right next to their home. The parking lot is large and the Internet speed is fast! There are many places to eat near the hotel, which is very convenient. I will come to their home next time.

I was on a business trip and came here for the first time. The West Railway Station commented and felt very good. I came here to try it. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff was very warm and welcomed us to the room. The room was very comfortable. The balcony could watch the sunset. The scenery was also beautiful.
