The hotel facilities, cleanliness, and service were all excellent, and there's an elevator. The owner and staff provided great service too! The breakfast offered was delicious. Most importantly, the scenery was absolutely stunning! The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the old town, and it's not easy to find a taxi there. Luckily, the owner offers a pick-up/drop-off service, which is paid but reasonably priced. If you stay in the old town, you'd have to walk quite a distance with your luggage and climb stairs. Overall, I recommend this for travelers who want to see the old town's night view but don't want to forgo modern amenities.

During the May Day holiday, I was going to take my baby to Youyang Red Stone Forest, and I searched for this homestay on the platform, which is very close to the Red Stone Forest. The homestay is at the top of Hewan Village, which is an original Tujia village. The Youshui River is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, and the natural and fresh. Every villager uses fishing boats as a means of transportation, which feels like a paradise. The homestay is also a Tujia architectural museum. The houses are handmade by old Tujia craftsmen. They are very exquisite and can experience the pure Tujia construction culture. At night, sitting in the yard, watching the starry sky, smelling the fragrance of grapefruit flowers, listening to the frogs and insects, and feeling at ease. During the day, go around the village, take a boat to Youshui River for a ride, listen to the boat brother telling foreigners about Tujia culture in fluent English, and have more respect for the mountains, rivers and humanities here. Due to the inconvenience of transportation, you have to eat in the hotel, which is a little more expensive, which is understandable. On the way back and forth from the hotel by boat, the boat driver helped carry the luggage, which was very enthusiastic. We arrived a little late that day. Since we didn't tell him about the meal in advance, the chef had gone off work. The boss hurriedly found the dumplings and glutinous rice balls in the refrigerator to cook for us. I was moved by this enthusiastic service again. There are no shops or pharmacies in the village. If you need to buy something, you have to cross the river to the town to buy it, so you have to bring everything with you. However, the hotel has equipped the commonly used items for accommodation. All in all, this homestay is worth looking forward to. If you are tired of staying in the city, it is really good to go to Menglihewan to relax and relax.

We took a boat from Wanzu to Gongtan Ancient Town. We could see the inn when we got off the boat. We contacted the owner in advance and he received us warmly. Since we booked a room on a better floor, the owner took us to the inn by elevator from the South Gate Visitor Center. The inn has a good location, a large room, and a separate balcony. It's nice to drink tea and chat on the balcony at night.
