Great
GG Leung VanNothing out of the ordinary. Standard service level of a chain hotel group. At least nothing negative to talk about. That said, a few good comments as follows:
1. Despite so close to the airport, it was very quiet at night. That means if you are a light sleeper, you won’t have any problem sleeping from plane noise.
2. Even though the hotel is close to the airport, you can’t walk to the hotel from the terminal. You can take taxis (cost about £13), ride share, hotel shuttles that cost you £6.50 per person, or in my case, take public bus U3 or A4 from Central Bus Station that stops across street from the hotel (cost £1.75).
Would I stay again in the same hotel? Most probably yes for its value for money.
GGuest UserGreat place to stay for families with near new facilities across the hotel. Very good breakfast with lots of different choices and friendly staff. The only drawback is the location which is not close to public transport however uber and bolt is quite convenient and can also take the shuttle bus to the airport then connect the tube to anywhere. Overall great and will stay there again.
XXiaofeixiangquanjiafuThe environment is very good, but the room facilities are generally too small, and the bedding and towels are old. The surrounding area is very convenient, with supermarkets, laundry rooms, and restaurants.
Jjam 13Well located close to Terminal 2 and not too far from T5 of LHR. We booked as we were on an overnight transfer. The hotel is easily accessed by bus which stops pretty much outside the hotel (T5 use 423, T2 you have a few options as a number of buses pass by and the fare is only £1.75 each way.).
Check in was fast and efficient. Staff friendly and helpful. It's an older hotel but the room was comfortable even if a little tired (no plugs by bedside with no option for charging phone except across on the opposite side of the room)
The hotel offers a few dining options but truthfully, I don't believe they offer value for money. Way too expensive, an even if it is on the edge of London, who in their right mind is willing to pay £8+ for a pint of beer? Pop along to the Three Magpies pub for a good meal and drink options.
We had breakfast included and enjoyed a very diverse selection of cooked and/or continental choices. The breakfast staff were welcoming and friendly. Ten out of ten for them! Would I stay again? Only if the rate was right and breakfast was included.
GGuest UserWe arrived late , check in was easy , having a car park that had security as well was excellent and a nice easy start the next day to get to terminal 3 . We had a family room which was perfect , would definitely book again if flying from Heathrow , takes the stress out of travelling early on the day of the flight
AAnonymous UserI stayed at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel and had a very pleasant experience overall.
I took a taxi from the airport and arrived in less than 10 minutes, which only cost a few pounds more than the Hotel Hoppa. For two of us with two large suitcases, this was much more convenient, especially since the bus only runs about once an hour for our timing.
The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel offered mince pies and hot chocolate at reception, which was a lovely Christmas welcome. The room was nice and clean, and the bathroom was well equipped with basic toiletries and body lotion.
The bedding was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. We also rented a car from next door, so the location of this hotel was a big plus for us. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable stay near Heathrow.
GGuest UserThe staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay feel welcoming and comfortable. However, the amenities were fairly average—clean but basic rooms and limited facilities. Great for short stays or business trips, but not ideal if you're looking for luxury or extras.
GGuest UserBooked for convenience. Ended up being perfect location and the restaurant food was really really good with a view of the runway watch planes take off . Bar was also very nice. You can get a pod to the terminal in like 6 mins right outside the hotel. I would stay again when travelling from terminal 5 on a really early flight .
GGuest UserThe room was large, bed fairly comfortable but not for the price being charged. I never got to the pool or gym as I’d planned to do but that was the main reason I booked. The shuttle service is a bit annoying that you have to pay and there are only set pick up and drop off times, so if you want to catch a different bus (which I did) to the nearby Renaissance hotel then that one is more frequent and only a short walk away from this hotel. The shuttle price isn’t expensive through, at around 6£ each way, it was useful. Breakfast options were decent with enough choice for a vegetarian, but nothing to write home about and I opted not to pay the 16£ for the second day I was there. Overall it was decent, but cleanliness of room needed help. I asked the cleaner if she could hoover the room as when I arrived there were bits all over the floor, she did in front of me and her technique was great, she did a wonderful job but when she left there were still things all over the floor so it was obvious it was the tool (the hoover needs to be updated). The staff were kind and obviously hard workers, good customer service, they just need more support from management or corporate to update their capabilities like with new hoovers. The chair also had “something” on it, so I general it would be good if staff had access to better cleaning tools to steam out stains on furniture and curtains. I’d probably stay again if it was a bit less expensive or if these issues get sorted.
