SSyahmi WazerEverything is just nice. Breakfast is so delicious! I’m from Malaysia, but I can skip some of my Minang/Padang food hunting because they also provide local dishes, which are really tasty. The location is very close to Jam Gadang—within walking distance. The staff are friendly too.
The only thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was this: I didn’t hang the “I need room cleaning” tag on my door because I was still in the room. A cleaning staff member knocked and said “room cleaning,” but I didn’t respond since I was still inside and hadn’t requested cleaning. Then, the staff used a key card to open the door. I felt a bit violated, though it wasn’t a big issue for me as I was alone and fully dressed.
However, it would be better if staff didn’t enter unless there’s a clear request for cleaning—just in case someone is inside and not properly dressed.

GGuest UserI just stay here for a night and unfortunately it was rainy in the morning, so i couldn't explore more outdoor activities. In overall, the location is quite good, i can see mountain view from my balcony window. Room space also big enough for me and my family. Receptionist and the team were very friendly too.

RRetnoThe room is spacious, there is no cable TV facilities, bathroom facilities with bathtub but no bathtub cover, swimming pool hygiene should be improved, breakfast menu variety needs to be paid attention.

YYolly Rita KarwurIni sepertinya udah kali yg ke 5 sy stay di benteng hotel. Pertama kali kami memilih stay di sini karena harga yg pas & sangat dekat ke benteng & kebun binatang. Kalo mau ke jam Gadang juga dekat sekitar 10 menitan. Pelayanannya ramah. Bersih jga. Cuma parkir yg mepet2. Sarapan ya biasa aja.
