What surprised us most was her generosity; she kindly offered us a free dinner even though we hadn't ordered a meal plan. Despite the language barrier, we communicated easily using Google Translate. She insisted on cleaning the room and changing the sheets (bed covers) every single day. We tried to tell her she didn't need to go to such trouble for us, but she insisted. It really felt like staying in a warm Japanese home. Highly recommended if you want genuine hospitality!
