This was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.

Guest UserWe had a wonderful time during our stay at Lakehouse, from the manager Ms Samantha to all her staff, they were attentive, friendly and their service was indeed impeccable. We had a lovely family suite, enjoyed the beautiful garden filled with beautiful flowers. The restaurant served excellent food, compliments to the chef with his creative cooking made a simple fried rice tasted heavenly, not to mentioned beef rib redang etc. A special thanks to Faridus who went out of his way to buy a can of lychee to make lychee martini for us! This is truly one of the best short holiday that we all will cherish & remember for a long time.

MingK 1091Prime location at Tanah Rata. Very nearby to the shop area and away from the traffic jam of KEA farm. The Indian cuisine nearby is very tasty too, as attached picture. If you want to use the bath tub, remember to bring your own bath bombs or salts cause you will not fin it nearby 🤣

ainnajwaroslanThe room is large, suitable for our group of 4. It comes with complete cooking utensils. Just a heads up, since they are used items, the frying pan burns easily. The TV isn't a smart TV, it has Astro (satellite TV). The bathroom is big with a bathtub, but the bathtub doesn't have a jacuzzi function, and there was a lot of dust coming out from under the bathtub after cleaning it. Forks, spoons, and cups are all provided, and there's a microwave and fridge. The microwave was broken during my visit and was only replaced on the day we checked out, so we didn't get to use it. They provided 4 towels and didn't replace them. There's also a small lift, making it easy to load luggage. FYI, the owner lives downstairs and is Indian.

🌲 Bala Chalet, Cameron Highlands
• Pros: A truly wonderful stay, with the charm of an old English cottage. Cozy interiors, rustic atmosphere, and the refreshing cool air of the Highlands made it feel timeless.
• Cons: None at all — everything was delightful.
• Summary: This chalet captures the essence of a countryside retreat, reminiscent of a classic English cottage. It’s the kind of place that makes you linger, reluctant to leave, perfect for unwinding and escaping the bustle of city life.

The room needs some improvements. The bidet was leaking, the toilet light was flickering, and the stovetop wasn't getting very hot. The best part was having the night market right below our room. Also, the staff were great because we left something behind and they kept it safe for us.

It’s pretty well located: near Brinchang, quite close to attractions like Kea Farm, tea plantations, markets, and scenic areas. The hotel is also linked or very near a mall/shopping arcade, convenience stores are just a short walk. That can be very helpful with children. Noise from outside or from adjacent rooms/apartments can be bothersome, but is fine since we come here for outing and attractions. Finally the traffic outside is too congested, not the hotels fault but too many visitors come to cameron highlands nowaday, it's an hour drive from one place to another within short distance.
