Oamaru Hotels with Parking

The homestay is on the hill in the center of Oamaru, overlooking the entire town and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Unfortunately, the day we stayed was cloudy and we couldn't see the sunrise. 10 minutes drive from the Penguin Center. The cooking facilities in the house are particularly complete. At first glance, it is prepared for the Chinese. Not only have seasonings, but also rice cookers. This is not available in other hotels. If you prepare a large spoon, it will be 100 points.

Because I wanted to see the little penguin 🐧, I had to stay in Omalu for one night and finally chose to punch in the first hotel on the list of this homestay. I really like the decoration style of the hotel, there are many Chinese elements in it, because the owner has stayed in different cities in China for more than 20 years. The most surprising thing is that I actually ate the only Chinese meal in the South Island Tour for breakfast. 😄👍

My stay at Poshtel in Oamaru was excellent overall. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of the Victorian historic precinct, restaurants, and shops. It's also a convenient drive to the Blue Penguin Colony, making its location ideal. The hotel is a converted historic building, retaining a strong vintage feel while offering modern amenities. The room was clean and tidy, with unique and stylish decor. The bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet at night, allowing for a good night's rest. The staff were warm and friendly, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. They were also happy to provide local travel information. The common areas have an artistic ambiance, offering a distinct experience compared to typical chain hotels. Overall, I was satisfied with the location, environment, and service. It's a highly recommended accommodation choice for anyone visiting Oamaru. If I have the chance to revisit Oamaru, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place with central location of the Oamaru town, near Woolworth supermarket, some nice old-fashion places and beach. Nice to visit and grab photos. Hotel keeps original decoration you can feel warm with the fireplace and wooden furniture. But the room is clean with modern style.

Clean accommodation and nice location. Got food takeaway delivery service menu, classic kitchenware for toast and coffee. You may find plunger coffee pack at the back of the tea pack tray.

Chinese service, attentive and enthusiastic service, the car encountered some problems, the owner has been helping to communicate on the phone, thank you very much! The room is clean and hygienic. It has its own yard and parking is convenient. The car is parked at the door of the room. The motel is right on the main road, making it easy to get in and out. This is a very nice motel, highly recommended!

The room is very spacious and there is a kitchen. It is suitable for parents and children. The location is not bad.

It is a short drive away from the city center. The service was great. The room is very clean with everything as we needed. Absolutely no complaints.
