Great
GGuest UserNeat Thai style hotel on the edge of River Mekong. Breakfast was very good. Room was nice, a bit old but rather clean and comfortable. We stayed one night from Sunday to Monday and prices are much higher during weekends. A bit pricey for what you get I'd say. Great service and very kind and helpful staff. Thank you!
Kkim min hyonThe clip that I went to Went for a trip and then went to a running event held in Chiang Khan. Book accommodation as a guest house in the area next to Kaeng Khut Khu, less than 50 meters away from Kaeng Khut Khu. Kaeng Khut Khu is very beautiful. The accommodation has a very convenient parking area. Can park many cars The accommodation is a 2-story house. You can walk up to the roof on the top floor to see the view of the Mekong River mountains and see the rapids. The atmosphere is very good. As for the room that likes the picture, it's on the 2nd floor. The owner is very kind, providing 2 beds and has amenities such as a refrigerator, TV, and air conditioner. The bathroom was in good working condition and clean. I would like to invite my friends to go to Chiang Khan, go to Kaeng Khut Khu and stay at this accommodation as well. The owner is very nice. When I first walked in, I smiled and greeted him very friendly. But during the trip, the owner was renovating some parts of the accommodation to make it better. Friends who go after I go should be able to see the novelty of this accommodation. Room prices are not expensive and appropriate. The food park should be able to order and have food available, but on the day I went, I didn't eat at the accommodation. May you be happy with your travels.
AAnonymous UserI stayed in a tent. It was smaller than I thought. I felt cramped. The tent smelled musty, probably because the air was humid. I hit my head on the tent beam many times 😭 (I was stupid). The breakfast was delicious. The bathroom was clean. I liked that there was a hair dryer, hair straightener, and hair curler provided.
GGuest UserThe room is beautiful. There are snacks to eat. There is a cat to welcome you. The owner is very polite and friendly. I will definitely go back. The overall atmosphere is good.
GGuest UserThe place is located in the center, which is easy to walk around and enjoy a single moment in the city. A hotel itself is very nice and comfortable. However, it would be very helpful if you can provide instruction on the parking area, which would be save time and easy for guest to find the parking. All others service are perfect.
FFoo Sze WongChiang Khan is a small river town with the magic of the Mekong river bringing visitors from far and near. With that, prices are exorbitant. Supposedly our room was for 4 persons but we used only one king size bed. The bedsheets were badly stained and we used the lesser of the two dirty ones. Mini Fridge didn't work and we asked for a replacement but it didn't work either. Bathroom was dirty at the corners and we wore slippers while bathing. Aircon was noisy but cold enough. Aarrgg..not coming back here again even for free.
GGuest UserWe were disappointed with our stay. We decided to treat ourselves and book a deluxe river view room. On arrival we discovered that the parking was a few streets away - a bit inconvenient and not as advertised. The room did indeed have a river view but the room was tiny. I am 5’7” and my partner is 6’3” and neither of us could enter the room without ducking down under the low doorframe. The ceiling in the room was very low and we both had to duck into the bathroom. I feel the ceiling height should be mentioned in the room listing as it really is very low and all but the shortest of guests would struggle. Luckily they had an upstairs room available, with a partial river view, which we changed to, at an added cost. The lady informed us that breakfast would be served in the restaurant across the road. She gave us a voucher for breakfast. When we woke up and went for breakfast the restaurant was closed and there was no one on reception to ask for help. We needed to check out and get our key deposit back but couldn’t find anyone to help us. After a few attempts of calling the hotel phone number I got an answer and a lady appeared a few minutes later. She took us to a restaurant a way down the street where we were able to get some food - this took ages to come and as we were already late in leaving due to no one being available to check us out we had to leave before all the food arrived. All in all we were really disappointed and felt that the price of the accommodation was not reflected in the standard of the room or the service we received.
