GGuest UserHave been coming to the Mountain Chalet for years. This ”homey” place is in the perfect location for ski in/ski out, as well as walking to restaurants and easy access to the gondola that takes you to the lower Snowmass Village. During winter months, breakfast and lunch are included and they are great to get your day started and take a ski lunch break. Very cozy living room area with real fireplace; free hot chocolate & they even had daily fresh cookies in the afternoon. If fancy high-rise hotel is your choice, this place is not for you. However, it exceeds expectations for a ski chalet resort. Rooms have been renovated over the years and are very comfy and some have great mountain views. They also have hot tub & outside heated pool. Our only choice while in Snowmass!
