Best Pet friendly Hotels in Parma

We loved this hotel. Clean, modern, bathroom amenities all excellent - shower, bidet, quality shampoo and body wash, working hairdryer, multiple clean white towels…. Delicious breakfast and 2 (?) working cappuccino machines, etc. light airy lobby . Our room faced the front and had a small balcony. Would join this hotel group …

Great location just off the A1. Staff were so friendly and made such an effort with us. The free bikes were a blessing to cycle into Parma in the rain, the receptionist advised to park at Piazza Garibaldi. The room was clean and spacious with all the facilities needed. The pool was clean with adequate chairs and an area for food:drinks. Too far too walk to the centre but easy enough to drive or cycle.

I'm giving 5 stars based on what you can reasonably expect for the price. It's well-located for the autostrada having got off the ferry in Bari that morning and driven up through Italy. Our room was spacious, clean and pretty basic - though it did have a refridgerator which was great. Good bathroom and shower. Breakfast was excellent though we didn't have dinner but went to Osteria Imelde 10 mins walk away, which I'd recommend. Dog friendly, plenty of parking and seemed secure. Would certainly stay again.

We had a comfortable time at this hotel. Located just down the road from the station about a 2-3minute walk away, it was very convenient to get to coming into Parma by train. The area surrounding the hotel however felt just a little bit questionable at times, but then again the historic town centre is but a short walk away. The breakfast buffet was sufficient to fill you up to start the day, and service there was quite attentive. We didn’t get to try the other facilities, though, since we thought the pool would be closed considering it was winter. Overall, we had a nice stay at Novotel, and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is very well appointed and elegant. The breakfast offering was varied and very good. When the coffee machine ran out of cappuccino on a very busy morning, just ask the staff and they bring one from the bar. The room and bathroom was spotless. My only criticism which is a personal one is that the walk into the old town was quite long. It is possible to go through the nice Park behind the hotel in daylight hours but I would definitely not go through at night. Also, if you have a pre-breakfast departure for an early flight, the breakfast box is useless. Don’t bother! Altogether though I really enjoyed my stay.

This quite a modern hotel described as five star but which in my opinion does not reach that standard. Front of house staff were great, happy to help with any thing we asked about. Bedrooms were a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. However, there was no drinking glass in the room and cardboard cups were provided instead. Our biggest concern was the step into the bath shower (no non slip mat provided) which we felt was somewhat dangerous for older folk as witnessed by the bruise on my wife's thigh. Breakfast was adequate and we did not use the restaurant for any other meals. The hotel is about a kilometre from the main historic sights along the main street.

This beautifully refurbished old building is a pearl in the centre of the old city of Parma. It is within easy walking distance of everything one wishes to experience in this delightful city. The room we chose was spacious and serenely quiet. Linen and towels were changed every day. Most impressive, was the reception desk. Such desks these days, are often manned by nonchalant young people who are more interested in chatting to their colleagues or studying their smartphones than attending to their guests. Here, the receptionists actually stand up as you approach and look you straight in the eye with a welcoming smile and promptly solve your queries in a friendly manner. Vittorio himself, the elegant host, was there to receive us.

A complete hotel in its entirety! - Staff: pleasant - Location: calm and calm near the conveniences and the motorway - Purity: uncomparable - Attraction (spa, fitness & bar): 1) Unfortunate****t paying (15€), for a hotel of this standing, it seems incomprehensible 2) Exceptional Fitness 3) Beautiful and pleasant Bar - Breakfast: very complete and correct in accordance with this standing of the hotel - Negative points: 1) Mini-bar: Everything was paying even water (incomprehensible) 2) Breakfast coffee machine is an insult to Italian quality

We stayed here at the hight of Covid, and had the worse dinner and breakfast of any hotel we had ever stayed at, ie a microwaved pizza and breakfast pastry’s/bread 4 or 5 days old. I am so glad to say things have changed. We had a hot and tasty meal. Not gourmet, ( I don’t think residents of Parma would use it) but fuel for our journey. Not expensive. Breakfast was very good. The breakfast staff spoke good English which is not typical, and one of them even asked us if we had every we needed, and could she get us anything. Everything was nice and fresh and a good selection. You could have breakfast outside if you wished. As before the receptionist were very good, and the room also excellent, a very reasonable size. Suitable for more then a one day stay. Since our terrible experience we have been staying many times at the Hotel Real Fine Baia del Re in Modena, which has the most wonderful restaurant which the locals do use. But the hotel was fully booked. So, we have a choice in future.
