My stay at the Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel was a unique blend of modern Japanese style and traditional onsen experience. The hotel's architecture and interior design were sleek and contemporary, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. However, I was disappointed to find that the hot spring was not available for couple usage, which was a major draw for me. Despite being renovated in 2021, some fixtures and soft furnishings showed signs of wear and tear, which detracted from the overall experience. On the plus side, the hotel's location was convenient for visiting Shanghai Disney Land and Shanghai Village, which offered a range of international brands for shopping. Overall, I would recommend the Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel for its modern take on traditional Japanese hospitality, but with the caveat that some areas may need further attention to detail.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is the signature Gokurakuyu Hot Spring, which can be used as many times as you want during your stay. It is exactly the same as the Japanese hot springs you experience in Nagoya, Japan. It is so comfortable. Moreover, the hotel's air conditioning and floor heating systems are very powerful. Even in the cold winter in Shanghai, the room is warm. This place is really suitable for couples to travel together. Soaking in the warm hot springs and bathing in the warm winter sun together is so romantic.

The hotel reimburses parking. Hygiene: It is very clean and hygienic. I was particularly worried because girls are still worried about contacting public areas. But the private hot spring is really very clean. You need to make an appointment in advance. The water is freshly prepared. There is also a public hot spring. The front desk baby pays attention to the privacy of the guests. If someone is using it, they will inform you. Service: The brothers and sisters are very enthusiastic. They will provide hot breakfast when they get up in the morning. It is very delicious. I prefer to eat some light soup in the morning. There are also fruits prepared after meals. It is very warm! You need to tell the housekeeper about the hot spring in the yard, and the housekeeper can open the main valve and then drain the water. It's very comfortable to soak and then go to sleep. The breakfast is very ordinary, you can choose between small wontons and seafood noodles, and the small wontons taste good. Others include orange juice, milk, boiled eggs, croissants, milk can be heated, and the croissants are not heated. It was agreed to be sent to Disney at 8:30, but it broke the appointment. It was only at 8:50 that they said the car was broken, which was speechless.

Very good service at the hotel and I have been staying there for quite a number of days. Great selection for the breakfast. There is a shopping center which is only 5 mins walk away so you can enjoy many food and shopping at the same time.
