The Shanghai New Jinjiang Hotel is a five-star hotel situated in the heart of Shanghai's Huaihai Road. Although it's an older hotel, dating back to the reform and opening-up period, it has been renovated and refurbished, ensuring its facilities and environment remain top-notch. The service standards haven't dropped either; the staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, restaurant, and doormen, are all very warm and attentive to guests. The hotel has two standout features worth praising: first, the guest room windows can be opened slightly for ventilation, which is much more comfortable than the sealed windows found in most high-end hotels. Second, it boasts the uniquely designed and decorated Blue Sky Revolving Restaurant, where dining is a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend it with five stars.

Every time I visit Shanghai, I try to book a few nights here. It's an old hotel with history and taste, offering an elegant and refined atmosphere. Every staff member is exceptionally polite; the men are gentlemen, and the women are graceful. The doorman greets guests courteously and helps with luggage, while the front desk provides service with a smile. Even the elevator attendant has such a sweet smile. It's worth mentioning that the room is meticulously cleaned every single day. Drinking water is replenished promptly and in sufficient quantities. Whenever I encounter the cleaning staff in the hallway, they always greet me proactively – 'Good morning' in the morning, 'Good afternoon' in the afternoon. On my last day, before leaving, I couldn't help but ask for the cleaner's name. She told me her name is Wu Hongxia, and apparently, she's responsible for the entire 12th floor. What hard work! All in all, I'll definitely be back next time.

The Shanghai Jianguo Hotel is a well-established four-star hotel located in the heart of Xujiahui's commercial district. Its biggest advantage is its extremely convenient location, close to the subway and shopping areas, making getting around and shopping incredibly easy. The hotel offers consistent and standardized service, with clean and comfortable rooms, though some facilities feel a bit traditional and the decor is somewhat outdated. Overall, it provides a practical and reliable accommodation experience at a lower price than international five-star hotels in the same area. It's highly recommended for business travelers and leisure guests who prioritize convenient transportation and value for money.

First off, the location is excellent. It's right next to Metro Zhaojiabang Road Exit 4, just 2.5 km from the Huangpu River, and Zhongshan Hospital is only a few minutes' walk away. Secondly, the room was incredibly spacious, with excellent amenities and comfortable bedding. Despite being close to the road, the room was well soundproofed and quiet. Downstairs, within just a short walk, you'll find restaurants, fruit shops, and supermarkets, making it incredibly convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again; it's highly recommended.

This retro hotel is full of charm and boasts an excellent location right in the city center, opposite People's Square. What first struck me was how the hotel has preserved the nearly century-old architectural style of old Shanghai. The lobby, restaurant, and cafe are fantastic spots for photos. For someone who loves nostalgia like me, the rooms are absolutely perfect. Looking out at Nanjing West Road (with the bustling Huanghe Road just behind it) while enjoying a cup of coffee offers a unique flavor. Secondly, the front desk retains the unique charm of old Shanghai with its more seasoned staff. They handle interactions with international guests with ease. A special thanks to Tony Yang at the front desk; his calm and humorous demeanor, along with his very authentic recommendations for local food, attractions, and even transportation routes, made me feel incredibly welcome. My fondness for Shanghai instantly soared (I hope the hotel continues to feature such distinctive, senior staff). As I had an early flight the next day, the hotel's concierge thoughtfully booked a car to the airport for me. They even helped with my luggage all the way to the car before waving goodbye. Oh, a quick tip: you can scan a QR code in the room to buy freshly baked butterfly pastries from the International Hotel without queuing. They make a great gift for family back home.

Traveling back to Shanghai alone from overseas this time, I was truly touched by Tong Jinxin's service at the front desk during check-in! He was quick and meticulous while processing my paperwork. Seeing me with a large suitcase, he proactively confirmed my room floor and elevator location, and thoughtfully reminded me of the hotel's breakfast hours and the location of nearby convenience stores. When I mentioned it was my first time here, he immediately pulled out a local map, circled a few niche spots perfect for solo exploration, and even explained the transfer routes clearly. This level of thoughtful attention to every detail, reaching straight to my heart, felt warmer than any extra perk. Next time I come to Shanghai, I'll definitely choose your place again. Tong Jinxin's professionalism and sincerity deserve a huge thumbs up!

My child was taking an exam nearby, so I didn't want to get up too early. I booked this hotel based on the distance. The overall feeling was average, the facilities were old, and the service telephones in the room were not accessible. Finally, I contacted the hotel through Ctrip for consultation. This price is probably completely bound to the location. The price-performance ratio is not high, and the facilities and services are not as good as many 3⭐ hotels in cities

For our joint birthday and wedding anniversary celebration, we chose the Jinjiang in Zhujiajiao. I had messaged the hotel through Trip.com beforehand, hoping for a small surprise, but unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply. Upon check-in, we received a room upgrade. I'm not sure if it was due to our two-night stay, a belated surprise, or perhaps, as my husband speculated, because the villa was easier to maintain. Compared to hotels that offer more thoughtful and proactive 'soft services' (customer care), their attention to detail in this aspect felt a bit lacking, which was a real shame. The villa itself was truly magnificent, boasting unbeatable water views and incredibly spacious interiors. The bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast impressively highlighted local specialties. However, the faucets could be a notch higher in quality, and we wished they were more securely fixed to the countertop. Many thanks to Jackson, our buggy driver, who escorted us to our room on the first day and provided a detailed and enthusiastic introduction.

I was very satisfied with the front desk service. I arrived quite late in the evening, but the receptionist was still very enthusiastic and helped me with check-in. I'm very pleased. Since I arrived late, I also ordered takeout, and the hotel has a robot delivery service, which is incredibly convenient – definitely a big plus! I'll probably stay here again next time.
