Toy Story Hotel

From check-in to checkout, the entire experience was clearly explained, and overall, this hotel offers decent value for money, especially for families with kids. However, the breakfast definitely needs improvement. For a price of over 200 per person, the Chinese food options were a bit bland and heavy on the coloring. Hopefully, they can make some changes in the future. The shuttle service to the park was excellent. For a trip to Shanghai to experience Disney, the Toy Story Hotel is generally okay. I really hope they can offer a wider variety for breakfast, and also for their fast food and simple meal options, as the current selection is quite limited. My family, including my parents and children, were quite satisfied. The hotel's complimentary souvenirs were adorable – a Toy Story-themed towel, luggage tag, slippers, and pillowcase.

This time, my experience was much better than last! The room had no strange smells, and the overall cleanliness was great. Even though it was still quite crowded this time (probably due to the summer holiday), everything was well-organized. Check-in was smooth, and I managed to catch the shuttle bus downstairs at 7:25 AM, though it didn't drop us off until around 7:40 AM after waiting a bit for it to depart. Still, pretty good! **Environment:** Excellent! **Round-trip shuttle bus from hotel to Disneytown:** We only left at 7:25 AM (because we were really pushing it with time, it was already quite late!). After waiting a bit, we were dropped off at the entrance at 7:40 AM. I recommend heading straight for TRON Lightcycle Power Run first – it's my favorite! However, when we got there, we already had to queue for half an hour, so if you can wake up earlier, definitely do so! **Early Park Entry (up to 1 hour before opening):** It was useful! We only rode TRON Lightcycle Power Run, which was great. But I managed to get a lot of photos with no other guests! Also, while walking from Tomorrowland towards Toy Story Land, we happened to catch Mickey and Minnie doing their thing before the park even opened. It only took 8-10 minutes to queue, which I wasn't thrilled about. But the staff told me, 'Oh my goodness, you have no idea, it usually takes two hours to queue for this!' So we waited for a bit and got to interact with them! Satisfied!

The hotel facilities are outdated, and the slippers are barely better than paper. The buffet's taste and variety are incredibly disappointing; they call it a buffet, but there are aunties serving you like in a school cafeteria, even shaking off food from the spoon. The kids' play area is also just mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel's round-trip shuttle bus to Disneytown is very convenient. The early park access benefit (up to 1 hour early entry) was great; entering through the hotel's special通道 was quick, allowing us to enjoy several popular rides right away. My kids loved the Woody interaction at the hotel, and the small gift for our second stay was a nice touch. The service was excellent, and bottled water was delivered promptly. The kids also really enjoyed the hotel's atmosphere.

This is our top choice for visiting Disneyland, and the service is definitely excellent. The ability to buy half-day tickets is the main reason I absolutely have to stay on-site. The rooms are very clean, but the standard rooms are just too far, too far, too far away! Luckily, they offer luggage delivery. If you're not staying overnight, you can also store your luggage next to the Starbucks in Disney Springs, which is very convenient.

Staying at the Toy Story Hotel was an awful experience, especially given the high price (2000/night). Many of their rules are completely unreasonable! My room key was deactivated promptly at 11 AM. After going downstairs for breakfast for just a few minutes, my luggage was locked in the room. It took half an hour of identity verification to get the door open, which severely delayed my flight. A 3 PM check-in and an 11 AM check-out is a very short stay. There's no shuttle service to Pudong Airport. The so-called 'buffet breakfast' is actually served by staff, leading to long queues. The connecting room had terrible soundproofing; I heard kids yelling next door all day. I even had to actively ask the front desk for toiletries. Ride-shares were checked at the entrance, adding unnecessary hassle. The facilities and services simply do not justify the exorbitant price. I do not recommend staying here. While my ID and all my personal belongings were still in the room and I had only briefly gone downstairs for a meal, the hotel unilaterally deactivated my room card and locked the door precisely at 11 AM. This action is completely illegal. According to the Civil Code, Consumer Rights Protection Law, and Shanghai Hotel Management Regulations, the hotel is only entitled to request check-out at 11 AM; they do not have the right to directly deprive me of access to retrieve my personal property. They failed to inform me beforehand about the room card deactivation rule and then imposed multiple identity verification hurdles afterward, intentionally delaying my travel plans and severely infringing upon my right to property safety and contractual rights. This behavior constitutes a civil breach of contract and infringement; the hotel does not have enforcement authority. While it doesn't amount to criminal embezzlement, there was significant negligence in their management process, causing me clear losses in time and itinerary, for which they should bear corresponding compensation.

Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Disneyland! The bedding is super comfortable, it's very clean, and the color scheme is so fresh and vibrant. My kids were absolutely thrilled when they walked in! Plus, there's a free shuttle to the park's metro station. Fantastic!

Asked for help with the sofa bed, but they didn't bring a pillow. I told them I had requested one on the phone, and the staff member was polite to my face but then rolled their eyes as soon as they turned away... So frustrating!! I get that you're busy, but if you brought all the necessary items the first time, you wouldn't have to make so many trips back and forth. Plus, the room wasn't clean at all; there were even piles of hair! All in all, my stay was quite terrible…
