Nana Beach Hotel & Resort

"Nana Beach Hotel is in a great location and it is maintained quite well, although some of the buildings have seen better days! But it was clean and tidy and the beds were OK. The room where we stayed was not like the rooms displayed on the website, it was much smaller and was on the ground floor so did not have a balcony. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but the breakfast was limited to mainly Thai dishes, with only fried eggs and toast available if a Thai breakfast didn't appeal. However there was plenty of fruit to choose from. The location was ideal with the beach just across the road and it was only around 15 minutes drive into town."

Santi Beach Retreat

Phoenix Room

"Great place. We stayed for two days, then extended our stay. There's a great restaurant 10 meters away, right on the beach, but the prices are high. They don't clean it. Free breakfast on the first floor. You can see the entire area from the rooftop. The beach is nearby; the waves were strong in March. The resort caters to locals. We drove around Chumphon."

"We got a wooden house. There’s ants everywhere but they change the room for us. But water in the shower isn’t really good so slow took me 15-20 mins to finish but over all okay. Mostly it’s self services"

Chumphon Cabana Resort

"Only stayed one night whilst travelling from Bangkok to Samui. Room was spotless, very welcoming with a comfortable bed and great aircon. The minibar was stocked, and even had cool glasses. The bathroom was spacious and had lovely toiletries. The TV had smart TV which meant lots of English speaking channels. We had dinner in the restaurant which although pricey was some of the best Thai fresh seafood we've had recently. There was a really nice outside seating area as well as an air-conditioned room to dine in. Some unique and homemade options as well as photos and weights shown of the catch of the day. We booked breakfast but didn't get up early enough to try it. Carparking was ample and conveniently located near the front desk, but it wasn't covered which meant the car was boiling wventhough we left around 9am. The area is beautiful and warranted a longer stay, we will revisit when we are next travelling Thailand. Our only improvements would be blackout curtains, and the option of a firmer pillow."

Lungpodkow resort

"The room was simple but comfortable enough for an overnight stay before an early flight the next day. It is located only about 10–15 minutes from the airport. The beach right in front of the property is beautiful. Unfortunately, it was raining during our stay. The staff were friendly, and arranged an airport transfer for the 3 of us for 200 baht, which was convenient."
