"Hidden gem, a small gem hotel hidden by the Como Lake. October, weekend, quiet, facing the beautiful Como Lake, 1K+ cost is incredible (others are 3K-1.5). The hotel is relatively retro, and the rooms are small according to domestic standards. But the double rooms all have balconies, facing the lake view without obstruction, it is so beautiful. The hotel breakfast is ordinary, but the dining environment is excellent. Pay attention to the meal fee when checking in and out, it may be double deducted. The hotel is close to the port of Tremezzo, the city where it is located, and it is not noisy, but there are fewer ships coming here, and the ships stop earlier at night. Therefore, you must plan your transportation in advance (you can take various public transportation)"

"A very calm and welcoming place. The hostel is in Menaggio, a village on the Lake. You can only get there by boat or bus, so it's a good idea to plan ahead, the boat cost €14."

"THE BEST of all the hostels I stayed so far. I am super happy with all the staffs at the reception and the bar, special thanks to Joana, and 3 other young men who helped me with the check in and check out, and throughout all my 5 days stay. I was very happy and surprised by all the free toiletries, amenities, coffee, juice, water, snacks, bread and cakes, and I love how in the reading/game room there’s a piano, guitars, ukulele, TV with Nintendo switch, books, games, etc.. I also love the fact that we can rent the powerbanks and wireless internet with our ID document. There were also very nice events going on, e.g. beer pong, family dinner, and more. I have just a few suggestions: it would be a lot better if the bed side stand be a little bigger so that we can put a little more things other than our phone, also if the room could have some hooks on the wall for us to hang our jackets and towels. Thank you so much for such a lovely and wonderful stay. I also met a lot of amazing people. I would definitely come back in no time❤️"

"Nice hotel. A bit far from the town by walk (1.5km.) staff are nice. They explain and recommend everything for us to make a tour or restaurants. Room quit small especially bathroom."

"The floor was noise, not pot to make hot water, and would have appreciate more complementary free bottles of water. Plus noisy on the weekends for the restaurant that is close at the hotel and offers musical shows until midnight!"

"A beautiful practical hotel that met our needs. The breakfast was filling and wholesome, kept us full all day! (It might have been nice to change up a little e.g having boiled eggs/ omelette instead of simple scrambled eggs, especially for those of us with a halal diet and therefore some limited options) everything was perfect in terms of room size, daily housekeeping, lovely toilet and shower. It would be nice to have an iron in the room, although perhaps if I had requested it, there might have been one I could use. Also would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room for a late night hot drink. But these are small suggestions for improvement, otherwise we had a wonderful, comfortable stay in the perfect location. I would return to this b&b as well as their other branches due to the exceptional care and hospitality!"

"I chose this hotel after hesitating for a long time. I paid 50 Euro more to get a lake view room. Italian hotels are generally old. Although this one is older, the facilities and rooms feel relatively new. It was very comfortable to stay in and the breakfast was delicious. I can rest assured to book this hotel next time."

"Ideal location in Tremezzo in the Golden Triangle, within walking distance of two of the most popular villas - Balbianella and Carlotta! Nearby is the C10 bus stop in Como and a grocery supermarket, and the distance from the ferry is about 1.5 km. The view of the lake is amazing, just a delight! Even despite the noisy road, at night with the windows closed it’s very ok) In front of the hotel there is a very nice garden and there is a working, clean swimming pool. The service and staff are very pleasant, sympathetic, friendly, they quickly resolve and answer all questions, and you can also leave your luggage until the evening. Cleanliness in the rooms, in the hotel itself and in the restaurant. The linen and towels are fresh, white, unwashed. The mattresses on the bed are just a little hard for my taste) The breakfast is varied, fresh and plentiful, constantly replenished until it's finished, even the coffee from the coffee machine is good. There are fruits, eggs, yoghurts, cold cuts, sweets and baked goods, as well as hot dishes. Food and drinks can be taken out to outdoor tables or taken into your room. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, and the bar is open 24 hours a day - it’s very pleasant to order a glass of prosecco upon returning late in the evening from a walk) The rooms are small, but two people can easily move apart, but the bathroom is spacious with a good toiletry set. Definitely recommend - price/quality for a budget hotel 10/10!"

"The hotel is well located near the city centre. Convenient car parking at hotel premises. I was disappointed that booking for one person gets you only one single bed in a very small room. For such a price paid (cca 150 euro/night) this was very disappointing. Breakfast was basic and fine. Very friendly staff."

"Service and room are best. Also price is cheap. But there are not kettle , cups , spoons or another things , maybe these are optional things but i need mostly. So overall i recommend this hotel to everyone. A little bit far from Como ( 1 station about 15 min ). It locates in Como Camerlata."
