This trip with three elderly guests turned out to be the warmest experience we've ever had on Meizhou Island! I booked two sea-view rooms, each with a terrace offering unobstructed ocean views. My elders could simply sit and watch the tides rise and fall without any hassle. We checked in on the 14th day of the first ***** month, and I was worried about the elderly guests' mobility issues getting around to meals. However, the landlady was incredibly thoughtful. She had her brother take me to the market on an electric scooter to buy seafood while the elderly guests rested and enjoyed the view. That evening, she even took us to see the local village's Mazu welcoming and sending-off ceremony—a truly authentic experience of Mazu culture, filled with the sounds of gongs and drums, the aroma of incense, and dazzling fireworks. This genuine immersion in Mazu culture is something tourists can't find on their own. Even more heartwarming was her thoughtfulness. Seeing that my mother had knee problems, she offered her some knee ointment. The next day, when the weather turned cold, she brought my father a jacket so he could wear it to the pier across the water to return it to the Mazu liaison office. These small gestures deeply touched us. The rooms were clean, conveniently located, and offered beautiful views, but what we remembered most was the landlady's warm hospitality. Meizhou Island boasts beautiful scenery and warm hospitality. I highly recommend this guesthouse when traveling to Meizhou Island.

The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. When it suddenly rained while we were out, the owner even brought us ponchos. The guesthouse is very close to the farmers' market, and the room facilities are excellent. Breakfast includes congee, fried dough sticks, eggs (fried or boiled), pastries, pickled mustard tubers, and small dried shrimps. At other times, you can ask the owner to cook fried rice for a reasonable price, and it tastes delicious. They also provide tools for mudflats foraging. Overall, it's a fantastic guesthouse, highly recommended! 👍🏻

We booked a terrace room and balcony room for 6 people, including 2 over 60 years old and 2 over 70 years old. Because we felt good, we decided to stay one more day. The off-season gave us the opportunity to improvise and ”customize” :P The B&B has a good location, close to the beach, the central district, the Mazu Ancestral Temple, and the Tianfei Hometown. The public areas, rooms, and supplies in the rooms are clean and tidy. You can drink tea in the public area and enjoy the scenery on the terrace. The boss's family is kind, enthusiastic and thoughtful. We chartered an additional sightseeing bus for the boss, which made it convenient and less tiring for the elderly to travel. The boss and his wife prepared breakfast for us, and considering the elderly's physical condition, they also helped us recommend restaurants, introduce scenic spots, rent small electric motorcycles, etc. Since we wanted to cook our own meals, the boss took us to the vegetable market. We borrowed the kitchen and cooked delicious seafood. Afterwards, we washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen. We felt as comfortable as at home. Very satisfied with the homestay, recommended!

The B&B is clean and tidy, and the attentive service of the owner and his wife also makes people appreciate the hospitality of the people on this island. It is only a few minutes' walk to the ancestral temple and the beach. The geographical location is very good, which makes this island trip more in line with my expectations. I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel! The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no odor. As someone with a cleanliness obsession, I found it extremely comfortable. It's clear the owner has put a lot of effort into hygiene. There was also a projector for watching TV, a washing machine on the first floor, and a laundry and drying area behind the kitchen. The location is centrally situated on the island, making it convenient to go anywhere. Services included: electric scooter rentals at reasonable prices, sand-digging tools, and free pier shuttle service.

Very clean, I didn't use the bed cover. I wanted to give praise before I finished living. It was not a trust. There was no breakfast for the proprietress but it was also very rich! The location of the homestay is very superior and the transportation is convenient. The decoration of the room is warm and comfortable, great! Not far from the homestay is the famous Nanshaolin Scenic Area, next to the university town, let our trip be more colorful, and we will come again next time! What I want to say is that this homestay is located in a quiet town, with a beautiful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the pressure. I chose a warm room, which was furnished with a homely feeling and made me feel very comfortable.

Choosing this hotel for this trip was sheer luck! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was welcoming and welcoming. Check-in was super quick, and they even provided helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were high-quality. The hotel's location is fantastic, with restaurants and shopping nearby, making it incredibly convenient for travel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

First off do not book here if you don't have a high level of spoken Chinese. You will need to phone the landlord to get shown to the apartment and get the keys. It is an apartment not a hotel and it is down a back alley with no signage (it's the door on the right on the third floor of the third apartment block down the first small 弄/alley off the bigger back street, turning left from the corner shop called 山土特产, but again you'll need the key). The landlord was friendly and helpful, gave some recommendations for the area and brought extra disposable towels when I asked. Cleanliness was not spectacular as there were some used tissues left on the floor by the bed (behind the bedside table) and there was no hand soap provided, but other than this I was satisfied with the stay. It is very well located for tourism in the Xinghuafu historic zone.
