Fun stay in the jungle! Lovely bungalows that were cosy. Friendly and helpful reception staff, cute cats chilling there too! The restaurant was convenient, however a little overpriced. Luckily it’s not too far to walk into the village so there are plenty of options. Mainly couples/ families. Open air bungalow, so had many critters/ frogs/lizards visiting during the night.

It was a fabulous hotel nestled in the middle of the jungle along side the rive. Will definitely go back !

We had a fantastic stay! Super nice people who work there and help you with everything to make your stay even more fun! Booked several excursions and everything was arranged for you down to the last detail. Really enjoyed it! We wanted to book another night, because the children wanted to do so much, unfortunately they were fully booked. Enough reasons to come back again!

We recently stayed at Our Jungle House and there is so much to love about it. The scenery is absolutely stunning, the location is peaceful and immersed in nature, and the staff were friendly, helpful and kind throughout our visit. The food is excellent too. Every meal we had was delicious. It is a little on the expensive side, but the quality is high and it felt worth it. The river is another highlight. It was a joy to have this right on our doorstep, and our kids had the best time playing and cooling off there. But I need to be honest about one major downside that would stop me from returning unless it’s addressed: the heat inside the rooms. I fully support the resort’s eco values and I’m not expecting air conditioning, but the problem is the design of the treehouses. They trap hot air, especially on the mezzanine sleeping levels, and it becomes unbearably hot. There are vents but no proper ventilation system to expel the heat. Each bed has a small fan, but there’s nothing to cool the room itself. I was so uncomfortable I genuinely considered leaving early. What’s frustrating is that this isn’t new. Lots of guests have made similar points in reviews going back years, and I’ve read the management responses. They all focus on defending the decision not to install aircon, which is understandable, but by doing that they completely miss the point. The issue isn’t about aircon, it’s about ventilation. There are many eco-friendly ways this could be improved, like installing exhaust fans or providing a decent freestanding fan in each room. But this doesn’t seem to have been considered at all. Honestly, I think the owners would benefit from spending a few nights in the rooms themselves during the hotter months. I think they’d quickly realise how uncomfortable it can get and hopefully be more open to making practical, sustainable changes. There were a few other smaller issues too. The lighting in the treehouses is extremely dim — so much so that it’s hard to see your belongings after dark. The sliding doors bang loudly in the wind at night, which made it difficult to sleep. This could be easily fixed with a gasket or stopper. And while the bathrooms were fine, they’re looking quite tired and could do with a bit of a refresh. One last thing worth mentioning is that our itinerary for booked activities seemed to shift based on staff availability rather than guest preference. It didn’t cause major issues, but it did shorten our tour time and we weren’t the only ones to notice or mention it. Better communication around this would go a long way. This is a magical place in so many ways and I really wanted to love everything about it, but the heat and a few avoidable issues made it hard to fully relax. I hope these points are taken on board, because with a few changes, this could be a truly exceptional experience.

Our family had a wonderful experience at Jungle House. We found the administration of our stay extremely supportive and effective at all points, giving us peace of mind before and during our stay…. Essentially, everything is extremely well organised. The accommodation is clean and in a beautiful setting and there was a good choice of food for all the family. We came here based on a recommendation and I would happily recommend Jungle House to anyone who asked. Thank you to all the staff who work really hard for their guests.

One in a lifetime experience. We really enjoyed our stay here. The jungle house are nice and unique. The staff is friendly and helpful. We booked the family stay and excursions package and enjoyed every hour of it. We hope to come back in a few years when our son is old enough to experience it.

The jungle house and its treehouses are amazing - you really feel like you are sleeping in the jungle and it is a great adventure. The treehouses themselves are well spread out so you can’t see or hear your neighbours and they are a good quality it terms of beds etc. We did several trips as part of a 4 day / 3 night package - where we stayed for 2 nights in the treehouses at Our Jungle House and 1 night on a lake house on Cheow Lan Lake. We up graded out lake accommodation to a superior room with private bathroom- however it was extremely basic, with thin mats on the floor for beds and thin blankets. It would be fine if you are backpacking but not for a family holiday. Also there is very little wildlife to actually see on the lake itself- we did 3 boat trips and saw some fish eagles, the same monkeys that are abundant in the treehouses and a pig. The other trips were ok - the elephant experience felt ethical and was very good - would defo recommend. The tubing was ok but usual level of Thai health and safety - so be careful with small children and those who can’t swim confidently. The night safari was poor - you going into the national park with approx 200-300 other tourists and as a result see very little. Not the wildlife experience it was sold as. So in summary- Our jungle house is excellent, treehouses are very much worth doing and the elephant experience is amazing. If you are looking for a genuine wildlife experience I would book a trip with another company while you are staying at the treehouses. And only sleep over on the lake if you like sleeping on the floor with threadbare blankets for comfort.

Recently stayed here, did the 3D2N package staying one night in the jungle house and one on the lake. Great experience and really recommend staying here as the staff are all lovely and it’s one of a kind experience. 2nd time back and most likely will return again as Khao Sok will by far always be my favourite place.

We stayed in the two story tree house. The beds were very comfortable and there was no need for the mosquito netting during our stay. We had a view of the river which was flowing nicely after all the rain. We saw monkeys foraging from the balcony of our room. Meals were delicious and they had a nice selection of cocktails at the bar. The resort helped arrange our excursions as well as transport back to Krabi.

Wow. This place is amazing. We did the 3D2N package, 1 night in the sunrise treehouse and 1 night on the river huts. Both experiences were 10/10. The food at the restaurant is delicious, we had 2 lunches there and the dinner included, and every meal was lovely. We also did the elephant sanctuary through OJH, and we got specialist treatment with the sanctuary and it was so well organized. I would recommend this place and would return in the future. So glad we chose this place over other available options.

We stayed at Our Jungle House and ended up with severe food poisoning after eating lunch provided on a tour organized by the hotel. I spent the whole night with vomiting, diarrhea, and extreme stomach pain. I needed hospital treatment with IV fluids, injections, and antibiotics. We lost money on transportation we couldn’t use due to my condition, and had to pay a lot more to find a private driver to take me to the hospital. The hotel staff showed no concern or responsibility, even after we told them what happened. Besides that, the bungalow was full of mosquitoes, the fan was too loud to enjoy the sounds of nature, and no one informed us that all nearby trails were closed. Overall, this experience ruined part of our trip. The location may look beautiful, but there is zero accountability when something goes wrong.

Fantastic environment and jungle experience. Very comfortable rooms even without aircon. Not having a tv is very welcome! Everything was great, both the half day half night jungle tour and the full day tour. Monkeys are a nice visitors bit mind your belongings!

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was such a different experience and we loved everything we did. We stayed 2 nights in the romance tree house. It was amazing to see the monkeys on the balcony and we had a beautiful view of the water. The room was basic but had everything you need. We ate at the hotel restaurant 2 nights which was lovely and the cocktails upstairs were great. We did the explorer lake package which included a hike through the jungle and to caves, night on the lake, an evening and morning long boat ride where we see bison, otters, monkeys and lizards which was amazing. Our guide for the lake house was great and everything ran smoothly. The only issues we had was how warm the room was. When the mosquito net was on the fan did not fool you down and it was extremely hot making it difficult to sleep. When I emailed to book the stay I was also not told that we would be hiking and that it was the explorers package. We loved it and had a great time but we were not prepared with the footwear we brought so it would be nice to know in the future.
