Royal Road Residence

Old Town
Stayed here during the Christmas period and could not have picked a more affordable, centrally located place. - Check In: Whilst we arrived at 10am and our room was not ready, the management gave us a temporary room to briefly change and freshen up. This was very much appreciated as my partner and I had been flying for over 26 hours. Reception is on Level 1. - Room: Spacious, clean and amenity filled. Keep in mind they only service the room if you are staying more than 3 nights. Very safe with a number of locked doors to enter the hotel space and your private room. Wifi was fast and worked well. - Location: 3 Minutes walk to Charles Bridge and 4 Minutes walk to Old Town Square. Trams are approximately 3 minutes away (in the direction of the Bridge), whilst the nearest train station is an 8 minute walk. A number of good food stalls, restaurants and tourist shops located around, cannot go wrong with food here. - Breakfast: Complimentary breakfast had some good variety. A tiny suggestion would be if the Breakfast Bar opened a little earlier then the current time. Nevertheless, the staff pre-packaged food for us the night before as we checked out at 7am. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here in Prague! A very underrated residence block.
Hotel Salvator

Jewish Quarter
This is a really nice hotel at a decent price just ten-minutes’ walk from the old town square. It has a nice atmospheric courtyard that forms part of the restaurant (which we didn’t use but the menu looks good) and we stayed in a family suite which was clean and comfortable. Igor on reception was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers a taxi service to and from the airport. For just 25 euros each-way, this made the start and end of our visit to Prague much easier. The transfer from the airport was booked in advance and the driver was waiting to meet us.
Residence Bene

Jewish Quarter
I wanted a place that was centrally located so I could walk around for most of my visit. Residence Bene was exactly what I was looking for. Not only was it in a central location, the breakfast they served was good. They offered a good selection of food including a couple of hot options. I didn't interact with the staff much, but when I did, they were very friendly. There is a small bar that is open in the evening, but I didn't use it so I can't say anything about it. The room was a nice size and clean. They use actual keys for the rooms which are also used to turn on the electricity for the room. It was great because I always knew where I left my key. The bed was firm, but I prefer my bed that way so I slept very well. You could hear a bit of noise from the hallway, but overall, I found it quiet enough I was able to fall asleep without the use of ear plugs. They do have quiet hours and I found that people typically followed the rules. All in all, I would stay here again the next time I come to Prague.
Prague Golden Age

Old Town
This accommodation is close to the most prominent tourist attractions in the centre of Prague. To begin, it was easy to get there after we went up to the city by air, because we first took a bus from the airport that approached us to a metro station, where we took line A and descended to Mustek station, The hotel is located in the centre of the Westeslao Square, almost three squares from the hotel. The room was very comfortable and was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel offered a very well served breakfast, buffet style, not very varied, but sufficient and healthy. I liked it very much that there was a very nice market in the street of the hotel to make shopping souvenirs, and everything was relatively close and easy to go, like going to the Old Town Square, or walk through the Westeslao Square to make shopping, or simply lose by the streets admiring the beautiful ornaments in mural and Bohemia Crystal, or the famous Matrioskas dolls. Prague is certainly a very beautiful city to contemplate and host**** in this accommodation makes it charming and easy. I recommend it!!
Ibis Praha Old Town

Jewish Quarter
Ibis have a familiar and easy to use format. We enjoy the contemporary style, the bar and breakfast. Ibis Old Town Prague is in a great position, a short stroll to the Old Town Square with tram and metro stops almost at the Hotel entrance. There are beer and food venues equally near. The exterior is 19 Century Prague but the interior is modern, clean and the lifts were really good!
Hostel Little Quarter

Lesser Town
I will first write an objective review. At the end I will give you a good story about my trip and this hostel. The good - The mattresses on the beds are the best I have had in a hostel. Top quality - The property is beautiful and well maintained - The shared rooms are big and well distributed Not so good - Internet connection is unstable - The rooms overlooking the front of the building can be noisy if there are people outside in the street downstairs - The terrace closes at 10pm Neutral - The location. I read previous reviews about the hill and distance from the city. I did not find the hill too bad. Distance from the city is worth it if you like to stay in a pretty area. - I did not try their food. Only coffee and it was good The promised true story I’ve planned a last minute trip to Prague. I made a mistake when making the hostel booking. It meant I lost my reservation. I did not realize about my mistake; I became the most horrible customer you can imagine. The staff kept being polite over email. They went above and beyond to help me – even though I kept being unreasonable. I arrived late, tired and grumpy. I was met by Francesca and the manager. To my surprise, they were welcoming, warm and helpful. Yes, this is a great property to stay. The hostel is clean, comfortable, well located. The reason why I recommend it is because of their exceptional high standards of customer service.
