"Captain Hook is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. The villas are nice, we stayed in a room with its own mini pool. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel can help you arrange boat rides, scooters to rent, ferry tickets, etc. Some amenities the resort offers are massages, fire shows, snorkeling, kayaking, and skiing. You should know that there is no beach in front of the resort, but it’s a quick swim/canoe to the beach across from the resort. The restaurant and bar sits right on the water and offers various western and eastern options. We would definitely recommend the fried chicken wings! It was a great holiday and we would choose this resort again when we travel to Koh Kood in the future."

"Rooms are very nice the only downside of the room was barely no hot water. Beach is beautiful. Service and staff was good ok but lots of trainees and not well managed and trained personell. Breakfast was way under average in terms of quality and especially variety. Not even 3 stars in this respect. Food and service at the beach restaurant was good especially the service from K. Namphung and her team was very good. Cleanliness of the entire resort including pathways, water ponds can be improved."

"Siam Beach is on a super nice beach in an amazing bay. The rooms are large and comfy with a relaxing balcony. Im staying with a large dog, who loves the place. The surcharge of 450 bht is a bit steep, but me and my Ginger dog are happy here"

"Starting with the positives, Tolani resort has really friendly staff who bent over backwards to make your stay pleasant. It also has beautiful rooms our bungalow was clean and comfortable with good aircon and a very comfortable bed. It gave a feeling of luxury though the water pressure in the shower was really bad. It’s outside of the rooms that this resort falls flat. Tolani is positioning itself as a luxury resort and with a high price point to match but for the money it doesn’t deliver. The resort is supposedly on the beach but in reality the beach is not easily accessible from the resort. You can climb over rocks and swim over to the beach but it’s not easy. This means you will not have any sun loungers on the beach which can be an issue as the pool area is very small with only a handful of beds there. It’s also what you want from a beach front resort. The food at the resort including breakfast is very poor but very expensive. Thankfully there are great restaurants nearby but we didn’t have a single good meal here. Drinks and food are massively overpriced for the island too. We also had a poor experience at checkout. We had given our scooter back to the hire place but needed to head to the shops and so my wife asked if it was possible to get a taxi. A kind member of staff offered to run her up the road quickly in their car which we assumed was just a kind gesture. On checkout they charged us 15 euros for this trip. That’s an outrageous price for a 5 minute ride down the road but it also wasn’t communicated to us that we would be charged at the time as we wouldn’t have agreed. When we challenged this they told us we had to pay. It left a really bad taste in the mouth and it showcased this place is mainly looking to make money off its guests and not about creating a good experience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here because there are better resorts for the price point and the food and facilities are both sorely lacking. The lovely staff are not enough to save the price gouging happening here."

"The resort has just re-branded. They are developing and improving their resorts , facilities, services. There is high speed internet all area and strength signals. The most strength mobile service signals is AIS but they just equipped more for True/DTAC. The room is clean and comfortable bed. I recommend you bring your soap, shampoo … (Hotel provided but not good enough for me). There is personal beach in the front of resort. It really nice but many big stones. If you would like to swim in the sea, I suggest you swim far from the beach area."

"I had an amazing time during my stay at Tinkerbell. The atmosphere was so peaceful. If you’re looking for a place to relax and not crowded, Tinkerbell is definitely a choice. The food was great. Plus, there is a kayak free for in-house guests. The guard will take care of you if you want to go kayaking."

"Our family of three lived in this new year for three days, and there was still some reluctance to go. Kindly, we have spent two or three hundred yuan on a dinner meal with a full range of seafood and meat. There is also a happy hour every afternoon, and the cost is also very good. The fly in the ointment is that the hotel is rather ridiculous, travel can only rent a small motorcycle, the hotel rent a motorcycle to 400 pigs a day, slightly expensive."
