Barcarola Club is located next to the beach in the heart of Puerto del Carmen, it´s a private paradise of tranquil tropical gardens of native vegetation. They use geothermal and solar energy as energy source. There is a swimming pool with hydrotherapy jets and an outdoor jacuzzi. In the gym and treatment area "Wellness Box" the guests can practice yoga. The rooms have private terraces with views of the gardens or the sea. The "Circle Rooms" are perfectly desgined areas to read or combine holidays and work with our super wifi. The "Cacho Café" offers juices and coffees sun-drenched in a perfect warm climate, as well as cocktails, international food with vegetarian options In "The White restaurant" you can enjoy a full buffet breakfast with a selection of local, seasonal and homemade products. A mix of healthy, sweet and savory dishes, a selection of fruits and vegetables and a hot area where eggs will be prepared to the client's taste and other dishes.

OK so the hotel was well located directly opposite the beach.The pool area was fine with plenty of sunbeds.Why put towels out at 7 am? especially when it was raining? The staff were excellent,always smiling and giving a good service.The animation team were really good,especially their evening shows. Negatives,buffet restaurant very so so food not hot enough for my taste but reasonable choice.There are two prebookable restaurants.One being the Asian (excellent) the other Canarian serving typical local food.We booked this but had to cancel owing to my wife being struck down by food poisoning probably due to some chocolate ice cream she ate in the restaurant on the Thursday evening.Ww both ate the same main course but I ate vanilla ice cream. She spent the whole of Friday in bed and didn't eat again till Tuesday after we returned home.Spoilt the holiday to be honest.Also the beer was OK but the rest was tasteless. WOULD I GO BACK?PROBABLY NOT.

I stayed nine nights at SENTIDO Æquora Lanzarote Suites with my husband, our three children (ages 16, 14, and 8), my sister's family (including her children, ages 2 and 1), and our dad. We usually opt for all-inclusive stays in Playa de Los Pocillos annually but have never visited this hotel. We were assigned three junior suites: two on the ground floor near the splash pool and one on the first floor (18 steps up) for my elderly dad and son. I would rate this hotel three out of five stars. This review provides an honest account of our experience. Check-in Experience When we arrived at 8 pm, there was only one staff member at the front desk handling check-ins, so we had to wait in line. The lobby was impeccably clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff member was polite but distracted, frequently interrupted by phone calls and colleagues needing assistance. Soledad, his boss, intervened several times and seemed dissatisfied with his performance. At one point, he disappeared into the back office for over 5 minutes, disappointing after a long day of travelling. Overall, the check-in experience was not very welcoming, and we were underwhelmed when we finally reached our rooms. Room Quality The rooms were excellent—extremely spacious and perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, and daily housekeeper service was available. At check-in, we could opt for less frequent housekeeper service if desired. Free Wi-Fi was available in all rooms. However, the air conditioning was not enormously powerful, and the room could have been cooler. I have experienced better air conditioning in other hotels. The room had two sleeping areas, ideal for giving our older son his space. The main downside was the communal open bathroom area, which offered no privacy for toilet use or showers. I had to ask my son to leave the room while showering since dressing had to happen in the open. While we managed, the lack of privacy in the bathroom would not be suitable for travelling with friends or children's friends. It was an unusual setup I had never encountered in a hotel. Customer Service The animation staff at the hotel were exceptional. They tirelessly provided entertainment from early morning until late evening. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the kid’s club and especially loved the mini disco. Enes, who ran the kid’s club, was fantastic. He went above and beyond to ensure all the children had a wonderful time. We are grateful for his efforts and the enjoyable experience he created for our kids. Sadly, the remaining staff significantly impacted my rating of this resort. The rudest staff I have encountered in all my years of travelling. No staff member stood out for their friendliness or effort to enhance our experience. Many were rude and diminished our experience. The resort's size affected the staff, making guests a low priority. My goodness what a wonderful holiday we’ve had at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed all inclusive. Receptionist was friendly & welcoming explaining the layout of the hotel food times rules around the pool etc. Our room wasn’t quite ready and we headed off to the restaurant for lunch. Food here is fresh & plentiful. Regularly replaced. In the grill section they hv a glass area which displays the food being cooked. We always found something delicious to eat and I’d say even the fussiest of eaters would be happy. The bar area has plenty of seating which is waiter service. Pool area had plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There was some work being carried out in the wellness area but wasn’t intrusive and we had been forewarned. Pool towels are available from reception but beware of leaving your towel down before 9am and heading off to breakfast. Towels and belongings are collected off unmanned sunbeds. I think this is a marvellous idea. Drinks and snacks can be eaten around the pool area and there are bins to place empty glasses and rubbish Our room was delightful. Fresh and modern and we had the added bonus of being on the ground floor which lead out onto the pool area but is separated by hedging. Entertainment every evening which was fun. The entertainment team worked very hard as do all the staff. Highly recommended. We will be back

Great holiday to start off the festive season. All staff excellent, helpful and professional. Room comfort good and very clean, free use of safe,fridge and bathrobes if AI . The food okay but not as good as used to be, the roast looks to be straight off a field and put on the carving plate all red and bloody the chef said people like their meat very rare, I don't think so. Lots of choice with a special meal each evening. Drinks are served from the drinks menu and you get a bottle of wine if AI otherwise wine is about 16 euros a bottle. The night entertainment has not improved at all in quality and has really poor acts, however it is on now at 9.30pm which is better, need for improvement necessary. We didn't wait long for drinks to be served. Pool bar for lunch is very good and staff work extremely hard and are lovely. Lots of sunbeds and towels available from reception at 10 euros deposit. There was a conference on our last 2 days the people were extremely loud and made the place uncomfortable and full. After the first day things appeared to settle down and part of the restaurant was closed off for them and their meal times altered. I am unsure if this continued but I certainty felt the impact and not in a good way. The hotel made a great effort with the Xmas decorations and they created a great atmosphere. We certainly enjoyed our winter holiday and overall everything went well.

Just returned from a fabulous 11 night holiday. We had a room with a side sea view lovely spacious room, walk in shower (rooms with a bath also available), mini fridge, microwave, safe (extra charge). Spacious terrace with 2 chairs, table and 2 sun loungers. Always loungers around the pool. The usual suspects reserving sun beds before 9.00 despite notices. Entertainment was good and lovely lounge area. Prices for drinks very reasonable 3.50 euros for a large beer (excellent beer). We were half board and the food was delicious plenty of choice and vegetarians well catered for. The staff were very friendly. Stand out was Renata on reception who arranged for our daughter who was staying for part of our holiday to have a room near ours. The hotel is closing in the spring for refurbishment and I hope the staff get some clarity soon on what will be happening to them when it closes as it is causing them some anxiety. It was really nice to see the staff really enjoying their jobs and hope they can return when the hotel reopens. The hotel is in fabulous location just near the beach and at the quiet end of the *****. We are planning to return next October.
