Crowne Plaza Hotels in Qingdao

the room is clean and big, staff are helpful. We need to check out early and they helped us to arrange simple breakfast takeaway as well as getting ready a cab for us. i think this is the extra service that they offer to help foreigners (unable to use their local DIDI / e-hailing app). food options are available within walking distance. Breakfast choices are excellent. will come back to this hotel again.

It’s an old fashioned hotel, clean and cozy. The location is perfect for visiting May 4th square and for walking around the beach line. Overall it’s a good place for staying in Qingdao. P.S. We didn’t really understand why we had to ask to change our bedsheets when they are supposed to be changed every night. During our stay they changed once and on our request (but didn’t change the pillow cases IDK why lol 😆) so this part was a bit confusing TBH.

beautiful property, but I only had 6 hours total to enjoy plus the weather was awful, cold and foggy, so barely could see 1 meter from my balcony. the room was comfortable and well appointed, as was the bathroom. the swing open shutters for one to sit and soak in the tub and see the sea out the balcony door (unfortunately I didnt have the time) 5 complaints though: 1) there were perhaps 8 rooms occupied the night I stayed, yet the staff put all guests in the same place, so loud neighbors and cleaning staff without any sense of etiquette could wake me up at 630am 2) VIP lounge was closed 3) pool and gym was closed 4) lighting controls were primitive and one switch by the bed kills all power, including any outlet to charge your electronics... 5)TV was 80% static image, like it was connected to a rabbit ears aerial from 1970s instead of HDMI digital STB. staff was friendly but didnt speak one word of English... I would expect more from a 5 star western chain

Its like living a castle . Great for family vacation or couple . Clean beach but wish the outdoor pool was not closed . 4 x different restaurants in one place place from Japanese to German beer 🍺. Bedrooms were big and bathrooms were too . Affordable price for a short stay: Overall experience was great for 1-2 night stay for couples and families
