Very close to the sea, and the sea-view rooms offer pleasant scenery. The hotel service is excellent. The dishes at Qinxiang Pavilion are delicious, and the service there is also top-notch. The gym and pool are good. My family and I all had a great time.

Excellent service! We stayed with our child and they were incredibly accommodating. We were given a room with the best sea and beach view. The hotel has an excellent, clean pool with fantastic service. The breakfast is delicious, and on weekends they have a magnificent dinner buffet with steaks, kebabs, lamb, wine, beer, and much more! Before check-out, during breakfast, they even gave us a container to pack some food for our train journey. The staff deserves 100 points! Highly recommend!

This veteran five-star hotel still maintains excellent standards. The front desk upgraded me to a suite, which included breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour, so I didn't have to leave the hotel for any meals. The facilities are very well-maintained. The overall service quality is high. Breakfast was delicious, definitely above average. The location is superb, right on the beach, perfect for water activities. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Our family vacation at Shangri-La Qinhuangdao was incredibly pleasant. The hotel is just a few steps away from Jinmeng Beach, perfect for taking the kids to play in the waves and dig in the sand anytime. The high-floor sea view balcony offers expansive views, and I enjoyed sitting there admiring the seascape during my downtime. The heated swimming pool and children's water play area are well-equipped, making it ideal for families with kids. Our room was clean and tidy, and the staff were responsive. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. This seaside trip was truly relaxing and enjoyable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Qinhuangdao.

I went to Qinhuangdao for a four-day vacation this year and stayed at the Shangri-La again. While the prices have certainly gone up quite a bit, I was very satisfied overall. My daughter absolutely loved the buffet, breakfast, and facilities, especially the swimming pool – she wanted to go every day! The service was also excellent, and the cleaning staff were particularly great.

Overall, it was a good beach holiday experience. The location is excellent, right by the beach, so you step out straight to the sea. The children's facilities are quite extensive, with both free and paid options. The night views are lovely, and there's a market nearby for a casual stroll. The swimming pool water temperature was nice. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were generally decent, but I felt the variety was a bit lacking compared to previous years. Overall, still pretty good.

Excellent stay! Great location, right on the beach. As a resort hotel, quick and efficient service is key. Check-in was fast, and items requested to the room were delivered promptly. Even with a crowded breakfast, tables were turned over quickly, and food was constantly replenished. The sea view is fantastic!

The hotel isn't far from the beach, but it's inconvenient to push a stroller back and forth. The breakfast was plentiful. We booked two Deluxe Club Twin Rooms for our family trip. When checking in, I was told that the two rooms couldn't be on the same floor. To be on the same floor, one of the rooms would have to be next to a suite and share a door. However, later on, many other guests checked into rooms on the same floor. After waiting for half an hour, they ultimately made me choose rooms on different floors, which was very inconvenient. From the second day onwards, toiletries weren't replenished, and used towels weren't replaced with new ones. On my way home, they even called me to ask for a 5-star review.

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. It's really close to the beach, just a short walk through the hotel's garden. The indoor swimming pool is great, especially when it's hot during the day; it's perfect for taking the kids to play.

The service wasn't great, probably because it was peak season and the staff seemed to lack patience. I paid over 1000 yuan for a standard king room, and none of the promised complimentary items were delivered!

The location is fantastic, perfect for relaxing and taking a stroll. You can easily walk or bike to Qinhuang Alley without needing a car. Location has always been Shangri-La's strong suit, which is why even if the facilities are a bit dated, I still prioritize staying here when I travel. While the facilities are a little old, they are well-maintained. The cleanliness is acceptable. The environment is absolutely wonderful. I even caught a wedding during my two-day stay. Since I was just relaxing anyway, I spent the whole morning watching from the balcony – congratulations to the happy couple! Breakfast was mediocre, crowded and chaotic, and the food was just so-so. The service was okay.

I read a lot of reviews beforehand, both good and bad. After actually staying, I think the service was excellent. Whether it was the concierge, front desk, or housekeeping, everyone demonstrated the level of service expected from a star-rated hotel. Although it's an old hotel, over 10 years old, the facilities are well-maintained. My family was also very happy. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time.
