Friendly hotel, amazing views from balcony. A little dated, but still splendid. Worth it for the view.

The restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful but front desk service should be improved. The location is very convenient. You will enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. The breakfast and dinner are mixed with Chinese and western food.

The most thing that I enjoy is the location and the attitude of the people there, otherwise the hotel isn’t worth what I paid for! the room seems like old model hotel rooms and the carpet little bit smelly and not clean enough! If you are brave enough to buy something whiteish, you should buy something strong enough to clean it very well!

The second time in this hotel, still perfect. They have a nice pool and sauna. If you are coming to this hotel a see-view balcony room is a must.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located right by the beach and commercial areas. There are many restaurants and several convenience stores within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We tried two of the restaurants inside the hotel — one offering upscale Chinese food and the other seafood buffet, both were excellent. Will definitely choose Shangri-La again if we come back to Qinghuangdao in the future.

Great hotel, great amenities, staff speak english; but room smelled bad, you dont expect it in 5 star hotel. Overall 3/5

We very much enjoyed our stay . Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Very convenient location, a stone throw away from the beach. A mall is about 10 minutes away in a taxi. The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!

Hotel located directly at the beach, even though it’s not the most beautiful of beaches, but that’s not their fault. Very good spa area with hot bath. Breakfast room was a little crowded and noisy, and they had cold water only upon request (and then just one glass).
