Beautiful, 5 star luxury hotel in the center of old Ravello, with everything you’d expect from such a place. Beautiful rooms with breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, luxurious common areas with the finest decorations, a great bar, Michelin rated restaurant with gourmet menu, spectacular gardens and terraces, outstanding service with friendly staff. Worth every penny of the high prices and a great way to experience this most beautiful part of Amalfi, especially for a romantic couple vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Avino. The staff, food, architecture, gardens and rooms are all amazing. We couldn’t have hoped for a better week and were genuinely sad to leave for our next destination. Breakfast was the highlight of our day. They have everything you could need but nothing quite beats gazing out to sea, sipping on a cool Prosecco and enjoying a large slice of Torta Caprese. Other reviews mention the price. Yes, it’s very expensive but what do you expect? It’s a 5 star, 12th century palace over looking the Amalfi coast! More reasonable food and drink prices can easily be found in the town of Ravello. Thank you to all the staff! We will return one day.

My wife and just recently stayed at the Palazzo Sasso for three nights as part of our honeymoon. We had high expectations going in to the trip based on nothing more than what we had great on the internet. Are expectations were so high in fact, that we had some concerns that it would not live up to our expectations. Well, it did in fact live up to our expectations, an in fact, far surpassed them. Ravello was our first stop on our honeymoon, and we had an incredible experience. Everything was first class, from Antonio Ferrara the excellent concierge, to the reception staff, to the waiters around the pool and lest i forget, the amazing view of the ocean. I have stayed at a lot of nice hotels, and I don't know that i have seen a better, more scenic view. The food at the hotel was beyond amazing, and in fact, the Caprese Salad was the best I have tasted in Italy thus far (and I have ordered it every day). The rooms are in fact small, which is to be expected for european hotels. I would highly recommend a sea view room. For us, everything was perfect and it marked a beyond perfect start to our honeymoon. We will stay there again. Thank you to the staff for everything, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carson Wilson.

This hotel blew me away. With stunning views, a wonderful pool, multiple great restaurants, its situation in an absolute charmer of a town, it's the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I will remember it for life. I found this hotel on Mr. and Mrs. Smith when I was researching the Amalfi Coast. When I scrolled through the photos—of lush manicured grass and pretty pink flowers set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tyrrhenian sea—I knew I had to come here. But pictures fail to do this place justice. And words can't describe how privileged—yes, privileged—I felt to be a guest at this hotel as I first entered its doors into its ivy covered courtyard. Walk towards the edge of said courtyard, and you'll find the expanse of the Amalfi Coast in front of you. The Palazzo Avino is a place that knows how to dish up dramatic view after dramatic view, inviting you in and pampering you so you'll never feel like leaving. The room was classically designed, and very very comfortable. But I barely spent any time in the room. Why do so when a vacation on the Amalfi Coast practically begs for lounging by the pool and sipping Aperol Spritz? Do spend at least half a day at the hotel's clubhouse by the sea. The hotel offers a free shuttle to its private clubhouse down at sea level, where you can take a dip in the cool waters of the Tyrrhenian sea, which was certainly necessary in the heat of August. I came to understand from our fellow loungers that guests at this hotel were mostly return visitors. While I typically eschew staying at the same place twice in the name of seeking new experiences, I might have to reconsider this stance if I ever come back to Ravello.

This hotel is a real beauty. from the moment you walk in you do not want to leave. It full fills every expectations to be a Leading Hotel of the World member. I used a long time to plan our event, and from day one on the first contact the help and service has been immaculate. A special thanks to front office Manager and Head Concierge Antonio Ferrera for his fantastic help and knowledge. Another special thanks to Emanuella Apicella, and Anna Grimaldi in the reservations and events department. We had a carefully planned menu, and the food is at Michelin standard, as well as the service received at all levels in the food and beverage department. beautiful settings for the breakfast with the amazing views this hotel has to offer. If you want to visit other villages on the Amalfi coast the hotel provides you with a private driver, and it is charged at normal taxi prices. To finish up our 3 days of festivities i had organised a firework display. because of problems with authorisations for a land display, the hotel management opened up their beach club, so we could have the firework sent up from the water instead. The Beach Club is open from the month of May.For anyone that wants to explore the Amalfi coast, this is the place to have your base. If you have your own car the hotel offer valet parking in the garage at additional cost, but it saves you time and effort to find space in the paid public parking in Ravello.. This hotel made my wife's dream come trough, and it is one of the very best 5 star hotels I have stayed at. And I have stayed at many........

I'm convinced there is no place more beautiful on Earth than Ravello, and the unique surroundings of the Palazzo Avino (Palazzo Sasso) made our time there more special. Walk down the adjacent stairs under twinkling lights and flowers to the town square and you can stroll, shop, play, dance.... Be sure to book the shuttle to head down to the seaside property the hotel has. The sea is calm, great for swimming; the hospitality great; the Prosecco cold! the views at both the seaside property and the pool are amazing. Both restaurants are delicious and I recommend a drink as the sun goes down. Every details of the rooms was perfect format he complimentary Prosecco upon arrival, the limoncello at departure, the choice of fragrance in your toiletries....nothing is left to chance. Beautiful, and worth every penny.

I strongly reccomend this hotel for couples, looking for a romantic, breath taking brake. I've spent a couple of months to plan our honeymoon and finally decided to stay in Ravello-Palazzo Sasso in a Junior Suite.. check-in was quick (we arrived at 13:00) and bellboy was very kind. Actually every staff we saw in the hotel was very friendly and dedicated. Our room has a fantastic views from 3 windows with all sea-view. I think the best part is looking at multi-layered valleys offering a real 3D experience.. hotel pool is nice but not olympic size..it is ideal for a short-cool shower. but you can get sun showers with a breath taking sea-mountain views from 350mt. our room was cleaned up almost in every 2-3 hours as soon as we leave the room!! breakfast was also fantastic but watch the bees :)) I believe you should be thinking about giving some extra penny to upgrade your room as much as you can. The hotel is quite expensive almost for every room options and you don't want to be dissapointed after giving 600€.. so try to give 150€ more if you can afford. your experience will chance dramatically. TIPS - make sure that you reserve a room with sea-view otherwise you will be very very dissapointed. -make sure that you've arranged a taxi or rental to reach the hotel. it is extremely difficult to reach the hotel by public transport..it may be a bitter experience.. -İf you're planning to rent a car, ask yourself if you're a good-experienced driver.since roads are very narrow. I'm from İstanbul-Turkey so I had no problems :)) but if you're from West Europe, think twice! -if you're planning for long disco nights forget about Ravello. you better go to Amalfi or Positano. - you can easily reach to Amalfi-Positano by car in 20-25 minutes. if you're planning to use bus, you should think twice about going to Ravello I hope my review helps to Plan your holidays which deserves to be perfect!! From the aromatic welcome drink to the personalized farewell card, this place understands hospitality at its core. The room was a sanctuary of comfort, with views that made me linger by the window each morning. The concierge team went above and beyond with their local recommendations, each one perfectly suited to my interests. The evening turndown service with its little surprise

I travel frequently for business, but this stay made me feel like I was on vacation. The workspace in the room was perfectly designed, the Wi-Fi was lightning-fast, and the 24-hour business center was a lifesaver. But what truly set this place apart was the rooftop lounge - the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of meetings. The bartender's knowledge of craft cocktails was impressive
