Service: The service was proactive and attentive. They proactively upgraded us from a Deluxe Lake View to an Executive Lake View. However, in this particular room type, the lake-facing side was largely obstructed by a wall, with the sliding glass door taking up a concerningly small portion. Was this really an upgrade? Side note: The 'Imperial Restaurant' within the hotel offers a 399 hot pot fish set menu that is genuinely awful – absolutely do not order it! On this Yunnan trip, I stayed at the Pullman Dali, Qianshanji, Hilton Fuxian Lake, and Kunming Haiqiao View, and the Hilton was by far the worst experience.
