The breakfast was pretty good. It's located by the road, so there's some car noise (but not many cars at night, so it's fine then). The soundproofing in the rooms could be improved; kids in the hallway started making noise before 7 AM.

Since we love pasta, there was no Chinese pasta in the community restaurant. The only pasta dish we could order was spaghetti at Na Ba Restaurant, but it was very unappetizing. Avoid it at all costs! There's a lot of room for improvement in this regard at both restaurants! Additionally, because the hotel is located within the Mingshi Scenic Area, there are quite a few non-staying tourists coming and going. If this bothers you, you might want to choose somewhere else. Although there were three free travel photoshoots, there were too many pitfalls. The photos I took with my child this time were simply unbearable to look at. A package of 60 photos cost 800 yuan, and this didn't even include clothes and other fees. I received the photos today after taking them yesterday, and they were unexpectedly unprofessional! Do not believe the promotional photos, they are two different things! The place has a very good reputation, and I strongly recommend being cautious when choosing a partner travel photography company. Since their promotion includes free travel photos, they should choose a professional company to work with, otherwise, it will really damage their reputation.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.

Choosing Yaste Hotel for our Detian Waterfall trip was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is located on Shuolong Town Street, just a few minutes' drive from the Detian Waterfall scenic area. The zero-pressure mattress was soft and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The hot water supply was stable, the air conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. We could even enjoy views of the karst mountains from the window, which was a nice bonus. The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient with check-in and check-out. They also proactively offered advice on local attractions and recommended local restaurants, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was a Chinese buffet with a good variety of options, satisfying our needs for the trip. The hotel also offers convenient facilities like luggage storage and self-service laundry, making it suitable for both short stays and longer itineraries. Considering its location, comfort, and price, it's a highly cost-effective chain hotel near the scenic area, definitely a top choice for a trip to Detian.
