"Hygienic: very clean and very good
Environment: The decoration style is simple and generous, making people very comfortable
Service: This is superb, the first floor provides a variety of drinks, coffee machine, tea, and even ice machine. The front desk lady was gentle and considerate. Seeing that we had brought the children, she took the initiative to help us change to a position farther from the elevator.
Free parking, very recommended"
"The environment of the homestay is very quiet, the room is very clean, the layout is elegant and exquisite, and the gardenia forest outside the window is very pleasant! The proprietress is warm and caring! Parking is convenient, not far from the ancient town. It takes five or six minutes to drive, and it takes only ten minutes to walk. Parking in the ancient town is also very convenient!"

The guesthouse is located in the heart of Bagua Village, with rooms facing the pond. Although it's a converted old house, the facilities are complete, and the service is excellent.
The manager is a very talkative person. Sitting in the guesthouse on a hot afternoon chatting and drinking tea with him is a very pleasant experience. He'll tell you about the history of the entire village and the origin of its Bagua layout.
Truly a B&B with a story! I'd originally visited this place to see the ”largest settlement of Zhuge Liang's descendants” and the ”Bagua Ancient Residences of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,” but instead, I discovered the history of Bagua Village. He Keren, the owner of Danmingxuan, had a significant influence on Bagua Village's global fame. It's fair to say that without his grandfather, Zhuge Shaoxian, who brought the Gaolong Zhuge family genealogy, housed in the Zhuge Village Grand Hall, to the Sixth Zhuge Liang Symposium in Chengdu in 1992, the subsequent ”largest settlement of Zhuge Liang's descendants in China” wouldn't have come to be. He Keren, the owner of Danmingxuan, is also a dedicated person. He meticulously studied and researched the extensive documentation left by his grandfather, deeply moved by his dedication and determined to organize and display this material on his legacy. To this end, Mr. He has invested heavily, renting space near Bagua Village's Zhongchi and Shangtang Street Commercial Street. He uses this space to display archival materials about his grandfather's connection to Bagua Village, as well as his own photographs and pen drawings of the village. All guests of his B&B can visit for free, receive complimentary photos of the best views of the Zhongchi and Bagua, and if you're lucky, even receive a gift of Bagua Village cultural and creative products from Mr. He.
If you're visiting Bagua Village for more than just a photo op or a check-in, but also want to explore the village's mysterious history like I did, then visit Mr. He at Danmingxuan! You're sure to find the same rewarding experience as I did.
