Stepping inside, it was immediately clear that the hosts possess a true appreciation for life. It wasn't about ostentatious 'design,' but rather a subtle integration of modern elements into aged wood, pristine white walls, and warm lighting. The room was spacious, and smart home features silently anticipated every need, making it feel like living in a futuristic poem – a poem, nonetheless, that rhymed with the mountains and the moon. My absolute favorite was the window. Mornings brought mist hovering over the river like a delicate veil, while at night, stars seemed to tumble into the deep, inky mountains. Sitting quietly by the window, listening to the wind whisper through the bamboo and watching water birds glide over the emerald ripples, I suddenly understood why ancient scholars always sought to 'steal moments of leisure' – the sublime beauty of nature is, after all, the most priceless of gifts. The home-cooked meals prepared by Auntie carried the warmth of the earth itself. Bamboo shoots, freshly dug from the back mountain that very morning, and fish, caught straight from the river, were simply prepared. Yet, their exquisite freshness transported me back to my grandmother's kitchen in childhood. Each bite felt like a gentle blessing from the mountains and waters. The staff always greeted us with a smile, striking the perfect balance, like old friends. There was no need to ask; they had already quietly anticipated and prepared everything. And if solitude was desired, they would simply leave you with a tranquil, gentle quietude. Departing felt like waking from a beautiful dream. This wasn't merely accommodation; it was unequivocally a few days spent dwelling in a fairyland. I left imbued with its spiritual essence, and I swear I even 'stole' half a window's worth of its magnificent scenery. —Perhaps true luxury never needs to flaunt itself; it simply, gently restores you to being one with nature. ### Tips * **Room types:** Diverse options available; a mountain view room is highly recommended. * **Must-try dishes:** Auntie's local chicken hotpot and stir-fried wild bamboo shoots. My personal favorite was the freshly made dried vegetable and pork patty – incredibly fragrant! * **Activities:** Take a stroll along the ancient path beside the guesthouse, where you can walk alongside the Fuchun River, with distant mountains as your backdrop. * **Nearby attractions:** It's very close to the Mailing Ancient Path, definitely worth a hike. The establishment was incredibly thoughtful. They helped upgrade our room, and when they heard our friend had to rush for a train and would miss breakfast, they kindly packed some fruit for them to eat on the go. Auntie also kept everything impeccably clean. **”When paradise is here, why search elsewhere?”**

The environment and personal experience are much higher than the Trip.com rating. When you come, the puppy you don’t know will quietly guide you here. The green small yard, colorful flowers, the canals flowing down the mountain, cute little goats, kittens, puppies, Sitting on the rattan chair in the grass house will make you forget the stress and noise of the city. The owner of the homestay is a young and energetic little handsome guy who is very enthusiastic, personally, and pays attention to every detail and the needs of the guests, so that you have a relaxing home rather than commercial management. The room was quiet and slept well. You can barbecue at night and you can chat as much as you like. You can paraglide, hike, run, climb mountains, ride a bike, dig rafts, watch the sunrise. Very recommended, will come again!

The room type was upgraded. In winter, the indoor heating was turned on and the water was very hot. It is a very good local hotel. The Murata restaurant below the hotel is also great, and the scenery inside and outside Murata is also very comfortable. There are also kittens on the street, which are plump and well-fed by the villagers, but they are very friendly and easy to pet. I'll go again in summer if I have the chance.

The room was great, with beautiful mountain views right outside! The service was truly the best I've ever experienced in a guesthouse. The staff were all very friendly and they even set up a dedicated concierge group chat. Anything we needed, we just mentioned it in the group and they'd deliver it right to our door. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. If we couldn't finish it, they'd even provide a takeaway box so we could enjoy it later. Dinner, which required advance booking, was surprisingly delicious. We ordered dried malan vegetables with fragrant tofu and bamboo shoots stewed with cured pork. The bamboo shoots were incredibly fresh, dug up by the staff from behind the mountain that very morning, and the stew was perfectly cooked, fragrant and flavorful! There were also plenty of activities. We made coffee grounds sachets, experienced the traditional tea ceremony around a stove, created mountain landscape paintings, and even went digging for bamboo shoots. There's a very cute Border Collie named Blueberry 🫐 at the front desk. It was a perfect holiday experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends. We'll definitely be back in the summer!

The B&B we stayed in during the Qingming Festival was surrounded by rapeseed flowers, which was so beautiful. The room was very good and the owner was very enthusiastic. It was suitable for daydreaming and also for a family outing.

Service: The boss is very enthusiastic. The lunch and dinner dishes taste good. The combination is meat-oriented. You need to make reservations with the front desk in advance every day. The breakfast is also very rich. Any special requirements are also met as much as possible. Fresh fruits and mineral water are provided in the room every day. Local honey is also given before leaving. Hygiene: I found a longan kernel between the beds when I moved in. Due to the geographical location, it is probably a bit damp. It was cold when I squeezed into the quilt. The window sill of the shower room is wooden and is often splashed with water, which is a bit moldy. Facilities: The hotel specially prepared a disposable bath set, which is very considerate. The smart toilet is good, but every time I get up and occasionally make a dripping sound, it is really a bit uncomfortable for me who sleeps lightly. Because the bathroom door is an unobstructed wooden vertical grid, there will be no privacy when going to the toilet, and it is easy to catch a cold when taking a shower. The shower head broke on the last night, and the water was dripping all night, and the toilet was dripping. I didn't sleep well all night. Since the room is next to a small road, which is a must-go for several B&Bs, it is very noisy when tourists pass by and talk loudly, so it is recommended to close the doors and windows. Sharing the yard with the next door, if you encounter neighbors who have no sense of boundaries, guests will walk to your French window and stare blankly. Transportation: Since there is only one road up and down the mountain, it is recommended that guests who come here try to go up the mountain during the day, which is safer.

We had a fantastic stay at the big house at Nine Cloud Homestead Resort, traveling with 6 adults and 4 children. The house is beautifully located at the foot of the mountain, with a huge garden full of lovely trees and flowers, making it peaceful and perfect for families. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent — special thanks to our dedicated housekeeper Aline, who was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The shuttle service between the hall and the house was very convenient, and guests can enjoy many free amenities including the swimming pool, gym, table tennis, and badminton courts. A wonderful, relaxing stay — highly recommended for families and groups!

Holidays are hidden in the clouds. The room is on the first floor, with an exclusive view of the mountain. There is even a shallow stream that you can wade down from the side door, which is quite a surprise. When working in the city, you look up and see the ceiling and the lights that never go out day or night. In the mountains, there is sunlight and birds singing during the day, and darkness and insects chirping when the sun goes down. The day and night are clearly distinguished, and the perception that had been confused by deadlines and to-do lists is restored. People walk during the day and rest at night. They should have day and night just like flowers, plants and trees. When I first arrived and parked the car, two store owners came down the steps to greet me, just like a cheerful younger brother at home bringing his younger sister out to pick you up. It was very different from the mechanical courtesy hidden behind the front desk of other hotels when checking in. The breakfast was simple but appetizing. I ate it slowly under the tree branches, with the morning sun shining on my neck, feeling leisurely and comfortable. Yesterday's breakfast was still a bagel I grabbed before going out, and I ate a few bites while switching between brakes and accelerators in the traffic jam on Beizhai Elevated Road. Out of habit, I asked the shop owner for a cup of coffee. He made it for me while we were chatting. It was really good. The entire homestay consists of three buildings distributed on two slopes. The public areas are all outdoors, with plenty of lounge chairs, tables and benches, which can be placed anywhere for lying down or sitting. The dinner was clean and refreshing, and I must mention the plates, bowls, cups and dishes of the restaurant. The Nebula pottery was rough and elegant, showing the thoughtfulness of the restaurant. The pity is that the stay was short after all. After we returned to the B&B during the day, the temperature in the mountains dropped as night fell. Otherwise, it would have been so pleasant to drink a pot of black tea in the evening breeze. It is recommended to experience it in person.
