Dolce Luxury Rooms
4/51 Reviews
The hotel is not far from Rome Central Station. About 1.2 kilometers, within walking distance, the hotel can arrange pick-up and drop-off, 5 euros per person. Hotel-style apartment, no reception, in a traditional building in Rome, the hotel elevator is the kind of old-fashioned traditional elevator, very special. Friends who are used to star hotels can feel it. Mainly in such a central area, it only costs about RMB 2,600 for 4 nights, plus a city tax of 20 Euros. For me, who just lived in a hotel apartment in Paris 1 district for RMB 2,000 a night, the price/performance ratio is too high. The rooms are very clean and there are people cleaning them every day. The hotel also upgraded me to a superior suite with balcony for free. Like 👍. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and it feels very safe. Hotel rooms have coffee machines, kettles, refrigerators, safes, and hair dryers. There are cooking utensils and tableware in the communal living room and kitchen. very nice. There is a small restaurant frequented by locals in the next street. The owner is a kind old Italian man. The things are very affordable. The croissants and coffee are very cheap, which can solve the breakfast problem. The western restaurant on the corner downstairs tastes not bad, open until 11 o'clock in the evening. Like a filet steak. There are many buses near the hotel. For those who bought Roma pass, it is very convenient to go to various attractions.
La Locanda di Piazza del Popolo

Flaminio Parioli
I was with my daughter, a friend and her daughter in this building for a couple of days, in view of the Ultimo concert, and we took the opportunity to visit Rome. The very well-cured rooms, the strategic location two steps from the Piazza del Popolo and the main monuments of the city have made this short holiday really unforgettable. The staff was friendly, available and hospitality since the reservation, and also advised us the movements we needed (in the nearby B&b are the metro, bus and tram stops). I strongly advise all of this structure.
Sensation House

Nomentano
recently stayed at Sensation House during my visit to Rome, and while the place had its merits, there were a few significant drawbacks that left me disappointed. I believe it is essential to share my experience to help future travelers make informed decisions. Firstly, let's start with the positives. Sensation House boasts a decent location, which allowed for convenient access to popular attractions and public transportation. The staff members were polite and attentive, offering assistance whenever required. The overall ambiance of the place was pleasant, and the cleanliness standards were satisfactory. However, there were two significant issues that overshadowed these positive aspects. The first concern was the ineffective air conditioning system, which proved to be a major letdown considering the scorching heat in Rome during my stay. The A/C unit struggled to cool the room adequately, making it uncomfortable and difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. This issue significantly impacted the overall experience and left me feeling dissatisfied. Another disappointment came in the form of the extra bed provided for my son. The bed was unbelievably small and the mattress, remarkably thin. It was far from comfortable, and my son had trouble sleeping on it. Given the price I paid for the room, I expected better quality and comfort for the additional bed. This aspect left a lasting negative impression on our stay. Moreover, considering the aforementioned issues, the price of the accommodation felt unjustifiably high. I believe that the quality of the amenities and services provided did not match the price tag, and I was left with the feeling of having overpaid for my stay. While Sensation House has potential, I would strongly recommend that the management address these concerns promptly to enhance the overall guest experience. A more efficient air conditioning system and better quality extra beds would go a long way in improving customer satisfaction and justifying the price charged. In conclusion, my recent stay at Sensation House in Rome was marred by the ineffective air conditioning and the subpar extra bed provided. Considering these factors and the relatively high price, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. However, with necessary improvements, Sensation House could become a more appealing option for future guests.
Cinque Sogni

Nomentano
We travelled with a large group of twelve people for a family/friend reunion. I was quite pleased with my choice to book 5 rooms at Cinque Sogni. We stayed for 4 days, and this place is perfect for a large group gathering. We were able to enjoy Rome very conveniently by using the metro every day. Bologna station is only 100 meter away and Conad supermarket is across the street. Also there was so many options for restaurants in the area. It is a perfect spot for family/friend gathering. It was vey easy to communicate with the host since there was no reception on-site. All communication was through WA and email. The host was very helpful during our stay, and it makes our trip very enjoyable - especially for the designated tour leader of the group. The unit is on the first floor (we call it 2nd floor in North America) and has 5 large bedrooms and private bath. There is an elevator to move our large luggage (for the cruise). Common area is also quite large with kitchen, sink, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. Unlike AirBnB in North America, Cinque Sogni provides daily housekeeping and it was quite a nice surprise for all of us. I cannot say enough how good Cinque Sogni was for my group. Thank you Andrea for allowing us to have a great time in Rome!
Domus Castrense

Nomentano
We stayed at Domus Castrense for 3 nights near the end of our European holiday. It was fairly close to Termini station. We walked there dragging our luggage. When we found it, it was just a big closed door and on entry there was an old fashionsed cage lift going up to the reception and then onwards further up to a different floor where our room was. Conveniently enough the breakfast room was on our floor too , the 5th. Breakfast was continental style with pastries, juice, yoghurts, fruit, coffee etc Would have loved a kettle or coffee machine in the room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but fresh, modern and fairly newish.
