The hotel is also very much looking forward to it. The housekeeper Xiaodan sister contacted me one day in advance. When she arrived, Xiaodan came out to pick us up because there was a detour on the hillside. In the evening, I prepared hot tea for us, introduced us to the hotel and environment, and fortunately upgraded the room. The hotel is not only beautifully designed and has Dai characteristics, but also very advanced and comfortable. The next day, the housekeeper Xiaoqian introduced us to breakfast early in the morning. It was nutritious and healthy, and taught us how to go to the observation deck to see the scenery. It is worth mentioning that the store helped carry the luggage, a wood lifted two boxes, when the uphill is definitely difficult to go, we are really embarrassed, can say thank you. CColin MichaelIt was a little surprising to find such a well designed and appointment bed and breakfast in the middle of an authentic village. The on-site manager was amazing and made sure that we were comfortable and well fed the entire trip (including organizing a meal in the home of a local villager). The design aesthetic is beautiful, the windows wrapping the entire building give unparalleled views. The breakfast is simple but well prepared and filling. It features rice noodles, fresh fruit, hard boiled and fried eggs and a savory broth. The hiking nearby is a little fake? So come to be relaxed and enjoy the slow life of a 500+ year old community. See still in-tact wells, bridges, and granaries that have supported this community that entire time. The cloth dyeing business nearby is a fun excursion and was probably the highlight of our trip. Meet the owner who is a woman who left academia to empower local women in the art of dyeing fabric and creating small businesses.

If you are tired of the noisy environment and relationships in the city, it is highly recommended here. The hair care oil, shower gel, body lotion, shampoo in the room are all natural, awesome! The view of the room is very good. I have a little wine at noon. When I look at the beautiful scenery outside the window of the room, it is also a good experience for an afternoon. It is the housekeeper A Dengcao we went up the mountain. Friends who are more than 200 roads that are easy to get motion sickness should be prepared and don't eat too much. The front desk Xiaomi people were super enthusiastic and handed us a flower ball and a plate of buckles. I didn't expect such a treasure when I went anywhere, and my mother was full of praise! But remember to bring insect-proof things in autumn. The blood and flesh are too sweet. I brought a lot of bags down the mountain.

WWongyThis is the best hotel you will get in Rongjiang. I would say the standard of fit out is similar to a Atour hotel for example. However, this is a brand new property and has a lot of gaps and it feels like the hotel is at a pre opening stage rather than a fully opened hotel. The Landry in very small basically only one washing machine and one dryer. But after each wash there was water leaks all over the floor as they have not installed the water pipes properly. The rooms are clean but air con keeps on switching off and you need to keep on changing cold settings to turn it back on. Another annoying thing is the toilet light. Even when turned on the sensors will turn off the light halfway through a shower. So you need to wave the sensor to turn the lights on again. The reception staff are friendly but clearly lack the polished service. I purchase two nights and added to additional night which I paid at the hotel. But the evening staff don’t seem to communicate with the morning shift. I received a call on the third day around lunchtime asking why I didn’t check out when I paid for two extra nights at reception. There is supposed to be a gym but no equipment and the football field below is nice but entrance to the field is not yet setup. Finally, breakfast is very very basic so don’t expect much. Noodles, eggs and a few veggie dishes but quality is quite low.

There was a problem with the air conditioning remote which took a long time to resolve, and it was difficult to heat the room thoroughly even when it was working. The proprietor is helpful, though be aware you may need to call her when you arrive if she's not at reception. The facilities in the room are basic, and I needed to ask for a kettle.
