El Rancho de Salento
"We had a fantastic stay! The place is located in a very peaceful area in the area just outside Salento. It is very easy to reach town taking the bus just outside the accommodation (every 10 minutes, 0.50$) or with a jeep that they can call for you (5$). Camilo was a great host and speaks English very well, he really did anything he could to make our stay special! Thank you!"
Hotel Salento Real Eje Cafetero ★★★★
"It is in the center of the town. The breakfast is bad considering it is 4 star hotel(?)."
Hospedaje Camino Real ★★
"I'm sorry not recommending this hotel. I feel disappointed with the Hotel and its expectations. It causes much stress and few solutions. First, they didn't accept my credit card and in the booking he says they accepted it. Second, we arrived at the room and had no windows, and when booking do not inform you, they only report by postum (the same day of check in) , when it is too late to cancel! It is very unpleasant to get to a hotel where the information is not transparent."
Viajero Salento Hostel ★★
"Won't ever recommend this hotel ! Maya at the reception is rude ,very arogant and is a liar ! Yes a liar... Be aware if your room is in the basement with Zero view and not even possible to get fresh air ( Room 19-11-12-13 etc .!!)..Avoid this hotel , or be sure you are not accommodated in basement ! I would recommend a lively small finca: Los Naranjos, with amazing almost 320° on mountain view! Lucely is an outstanding welcome person ...and it s cheaper ! Don't miss it..If you are lucky book the incredible Cabaña del Cielo..see photo..!"
Hotel El Mirador del Cocora ★★★
"The view from the hotel is great and the staff are very helpful. But it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the central square of Salento, including a steep climb. If you like scenery, you can choose here. If you want more convenience, choose one in the center of the town, although the town is not big."
El Portón de Salento ★★★
Casa Serafin Hotel ★★★
"The room and the location of the hotel were clean and in order. Unfortunately, the service left to wish. At arrival we received no explanation or instructions about the facilities or breakfast, which caused confusion during our stay. After departure we also received a consumed drink account, while there was no communication in advance, which was unexpected and not transparency. Unfortunately, because with a little better communication, experience could have been much more pleasant."
Panorama Salento by Dot Boutique ★★
"The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable."
Villa Salento Boutique Apartments & Spa ★★★
"The location is on the edge of the town. If you are afraid of noisy, there will be a car passing by at night, but the hardware should be one of the best in the town. The room is large, not early but can cook."

Lumbre Forest Lodge
"Glamping Lumbre was the perfect escape for our family, especially with our 2- and 6-year-old boys. We were lucky to snag the last family size tent on a last minute decision to stay within Valle de Cocora. The onsite waterfall hike was a fun, manageable adventure: safe, scenic, and close by. Each tent is beautifully designed and spaced far enough apart that you feel completely secluded, making it ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers. Ours was cozy, quiet, and immersed in the nature. With stunning views and space for the kids to explore. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—we felt truly cared for the entire stay."
Terasu Hotel Boutique Salento
"A great location being a short 5 min walking distance from the centre of Salento. Enjoyed the breakfast menu along with the friendly service (however would recommend that the avocado is cut into a smaller slice so more guests can enjoy it). The laundry service was good along with the activities that were on offer. The sauna was not working at the time which wasn’t the end of the world but would have been great if it did."
Hotel Mirador de Boquia Salento
"I like the clean place, the coffee is good, the sound of the birds in the morning. Nice view in the back of the house. There is a little hill to admired the view of the mountains . If you want to go to the town , just take a bus in the main street it will take 15minuts to be in the town. "
Cocli Hotel Boutique Salento
"I went to Cocli in August 2024. Unfortunately, something unpleasant happened: some money was stolen from the room where I slept with a friend of mine. We spoke to the administration who never apologized for what happened and after requesting a refund (initially accepted), they stopped responding to our emails. Furthermore, regarding the structure, the room was dark and damp."
La Cabaña Ecohotel - Valle del Cocora
"Excellent place- everything about it is lovely. great location and the service is a place apart. wonderful."
Hostal Ciudad de Segorbe
"the BEST place to stay in Salento.. perfectly located close to everything but still quiet.. super clean place, nicely decorated, extremely comfortable beds and a HUGE shower, the best we had on our trip.. we had a private room but I saw the dormitories which were the nicest I have ever seen choice of breakfast between scrambled eggs and muesli with yogourt, both excellent LUIS is always there, ready to help, give recommendations etc"
Beta Hotel
"Book this hotel (directly is best, not through booking or other platforms)! Everything is good and professional: room, bed, food, reception, personnel. It is a family business and all are friendly and helpful. We slept and ate very well. Delicioso desayuno and very good quality lunch/diner."
Hotel la Caracola Salento
"We loved staying at Hotel La Caracola! It honestly exceeded our expectations and helped create a homey/lovely experience. Christian & Paula are amazing and helped us feel at home. Christian helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport. Both drivers were so friendly! Christian also helped us arrange the tours we were interested in, we basically just had to show up or wake up on time if they were picking us up directly from the hotel. Christian also had great food or coffee recommendations. Paula made us homemade breakfast every morning. Fresh eggs, she asks how you prefer them cooked and fresh fruit (plus other foods)! We also met other friends during breakfast time because of this. The location is great, about a 5 - 10 minute walk from main square. We loved that this hotel seemed to be on a quieter street. Our bed was made every day along with fresh towels. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Salento! Salento was one of our favorite visits in Colombia."
Villa Mila
Sazagua Reserva Natural Cocora
"Be very careful with this property. I booked a two-day stay with them in May for a trip in August and paid a deposit of 700,000 pesos. My reservation clearly stated that it was refundable and could be cancelled as long as I notified the property at least two weeks in advance. On June 11, they confirmed that my booking had been cancelled and assured me that I would receive my refund within 15–20 business days. After waiting, I contacted them again, but they kept telling me that the delay was due to my bank. As of July 31, I still have not received my money, and they have stopped responding to my repeated follow-up messages. Be extremely cautious when booking with this property. Based on my experience, they either operate dishonestly or are completely unprepared to handle international guests and refunds properly. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company to recover my money"
Finca Campestre la Adelita B&B
"Sonia and her family were super accommodating, a great and positive energy and really fun to meet. Also an amazing cook that shared her fresh produce from her small farm to the table. Her finca is a real piece of history and a great stay. Clean, interesting, and peaceful. Also conveniently located close to Finlandia and Salento. Looking forward to staying again on my next visit to the area."
Hostal Estrella de Agua
"A great stay at this hostel. The dormitory is clean and well-equipped with individual lighting and curtains on each bed. The common areas are well-designed and friendly. The showers have hot water. The hostel team organizes tastings or cooking classes with typical recipes every evening, which allows you to meet other people. Truly a great hostel."
Finca Cardonales
"Good location with beautiful views. The room was very clean and comfortable. In terms of value, you pay for the view. It was nice and quiet when we went and the town is a short 10 minute max walk. We walked back most nights around 9-10pm in the dark but one night we took a taxi up and it was 20k. The hill was okay for my boyfriend and I, we were puffed out by the top but it is totally manageable for anyone with reasonable fitness levels, I’d say avoid if you have any kind of accessibility issues."
