The landlord’s wife was very kind and helpful, she helped me arrange my trip to Costa Rica, and I thank her very much.
My trip in Costa Rica was very enjoyable. There is a local restaurant next to this hotel. It is very delicious. After I return to China, I will try to make those three dishes. One is red bean rice, one is yak beef, and the other is pepper side dishes. They are all very delicious. Especially suitable for fat reduction fitness meal

If you're looking to explore San Jose, or have a basecamp for exploring the rest of Costa Rica, this hotel offers a great central location, situated right in the middle of San José. Good for walking to restaurants or shops in the city, or joining one of the several sight-seeing excursions which can be easily arranged by the hotel.
The rooms are nice, though the decor is a bit dated. The common areas are also well designed for lounging while reading a book or getting to know your fellow travelers staying on the same floor.
The breakfast buffet was fairly common for a hotel offering breakfast in Costa Rica, but good, and the area also doubles as a bar at night. Other amenities include a gym with free weights and a couple machines, along with two saunas, one dry and one steam.
The hotel is located in the center of San Jose. Downstairs is a main pedestrian street. It is convenient to eat and go shopping. It may be because of the country's reasons. The hotel feels old and it feels a little unsafe to go out at night. The hotel is decorated in an old-fashioned style, and the hotel lobby is on the second floor, very retro style. The breakfast is relatively rich, but after two days of eating, I feel that there is nothing to eat. It may be that the Chinese stomach is not used to it. Fruit, juice, coffee, a lot of milk, this is great. The bathroom in the hotel has only a shower head, which is very inconvenient. In addition, the drinking water is installed by the hotel itself, and it is always not safe to drink.
The hotel in the photos looks better than it actually is. Our room did not have any windows and you can hear everything from the hallway and the other rooms. The breakfast can be greatly improved. At the price-quality level, it recovers a little since it doesn't cost that much.
The hotel is a lot smaller than the pictures. The room is also small but has great shower and comfortable beds. There is no free parking, the reception will provide a voucher and you need to pay $7 to park next door. The hotel location is awesome, you can walk to most of the attractions. Breakfast buffet is great.
In addition to the door can not be very easy to find, the hotel's internal facilities/staff attitude is not bad, especially there are similar sofa meetings on each floor. Continue to stay next time.

GGuest UserNice with great history. Expected more from the room I booked
JJessica I’dWe stayed in this hotel for one night at the beginning of our 11 day Costa Rica trip and then for our last night in Costa Rica to ensure easy transfers to and from the airport. The breakfast is great! Pool area and outside spaces were lovely even with all the squirrels eyeing our snacks. The rooms are large (high ceilings and bathtubs!!). Location is decent as it’s a 10-15 minute Uber down to the city center and cool coffee shop neighborhood. Very safe and clean. Staff were great.
GGuest UserFull facilities, gym printing room, restaurant is convenient. This is the second time to stay in a deluxe room, but the room does not have a balcony as mentioned in the introduction, and there are no windows that can be opened for ventilation. The lighting and ventilation are poor, and the lighting is average.
GGuest UserPersonalized welcome, little welcome cookie, very attentive staff.
Very spacious and quiet room, very comfortable bed, shower pressure ok.
No hairdryer in the room.
Breakfast very good.

Iisa.mendezThe exteriors and the pool are nice but the rooms are very old and the smell was very bad inside, i think maybe because the carpet looks also old and dirty. I had to change from the first room because of that and the second one wasn't much better. The breakfast is buffet but very basic with a few options so i just got it one day. The a/c very old and noisy during the night.
GGuest UserThe room is good, the price is the highest, the environment, sanitation and service are very satisfactory.
What I have to complain about is that the network is extremely poor, the connection is often dropped in the lobby, and the Wi-Fi and traffic in the room change in seconds. If you fall asleep watching the video, wake up in the morning and prepare to recharge.
MMeitounaohebugaoxingdelvxingbijiWhen I booked at that time, I saw that the room was 20 square meters. When I went there, I felt that it was about 10 to 12 square meters. I was disappointed. The double room we booked was small and the room was small. There is no chair. Usually I can sit on the bed. Fortunately, the layout is good. The surrounding environment is average. The traffic is basically walking (the attraction is not too far, from the National Museum 1.7 to 2 kilometers). The service staff has a good attitude. Although I don't know English, I am also very active in answering our questions with a translator.
