The building was old, but the inside of the hotel was very new and stylish.

We chose this accommodation because it was close to coach and rail stations. I think it was a good choice as staying in the old town may be quite noisy! Our superior double room was large, modern, bright, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The communal kitchen and seating area was great with a small fridge for guest use as well. A fifteen-minute walk to the old town and a bit less to the Gros area. There is a supermarket within a five-minute walk too. All staff we came into contact with were extremely friendly and helpful.

First of all it’s in the most high building in town so you can’t get lost because you see it from everywhere. Room is very big as the bathroom. Another plus is that the television can connect with your phone so you can watch YouTube or even your country’s channels if you have that app. Free coffee provided in the hall ! The hotel is next to the buses and trains and not far from the beach or the old town! It was a great value for money room!

Easy handling of online pre-check-in, access to hotel etc. Clean and functional, no-frills rooms Plaza downstairs is frequented so quite loud on the weekends, also rooms aren’t really soundproof Bus number 9 takes you in a couple of stops to center, otherwise about 10 min by foot

Cristina Enea Rooms is located in a great neighbourhood and it’s right next to the Tabakalera cultural centre. When you come out of the bus station, look up. The Brutalist skyscraper is where you’re headed but don’t be put off by the exterior - inside it is bright and airy. Currently, due to station works, you must cross the tracks via a red pedestrian bridge. That basically takes you to one of the three possible entrances to the accommodation. Ricardo at reception was welcoming and super-helpful and seemed to be there most days from 10-6. The manual code worked a charm for building entry the first time as did the swipe card thereafter. As for the rooms, I liken this to a fancy hostel with rooms coming off a central kitchenette/lounge area. This is fine if your fellow guests are quiet during quiet hours (10pm-8am) but if not… Yes the walls between the rooms are very soundproof - no voices or even water pipes. The room doors, however, are heavy and most people don’t turn the handle so they bang loudly. Also, noise easily escapes under the doors of other rooms (crying babies, folks talking loudly after a big night). There’s so much to like about Cristina Enea Rooms - the location, very comfortable beds and pillows, great storage - but when the number one purpose of accommodation is to get a good night’s sleep then I’m not sure I can recommend…

We enjoyed our 1 night stay in beautiful San Sebastián. The hotel is tucked into the 70-style ugly looking tower which is visible from many corners of the city, but the inside of the Aparthotel and the rooms was absolutely beautiful. It looked brand new and we felt we got our money worth staying a bit away from the Old Town (the walk literally takes about 15 min). The check-in procedure was pretty straightforward - we were given the clear instructions how to check in and leave our bags. For our stay we never encountered anyone at the reception (apparently they are there :)). However, the reception desk has a Whatsup number and all the questions or concerns are answered right away. All in all, a great stay in San Sebastián - highly recommended!

We have been with our 9 and 11 year old daughters in a deluxe room with views of the city. The accommodation is located on the 1st floor of the Torre de Atotxa, a legendary building in the city. It consists of a double bed and two single beds. The furniture is minimalist but enough to leave things. The views were of Tabacalera and they are not very pretty because, in addition, there is construction going on in front. You can have a coffee in the hall for free from the machine they have. The instructions to enter were very clear and we had no problems. In the morning, there is reception service and the room is cleaned every day. Parking is difficult but there is a paid parking lot very close.
