It's a 10-minute walk to Santa Monica Beach.But there's a lot of homelessness on the road. I can't get around late at night. The hotel staff is very good. The man wearing glasses is a little cynical when checking in. The room I reserved was the smallest and the lighting was very dark. Keep that in mind.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne for a business trip, and I must say, it was a rather pleasant experience overall. First and foremost, the hotel's proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major advantage. It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression. I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side. The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay. The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.

We had a great stay. Our room (305) was very large and the large bed was extremely comfortable. The rooms have been refurbished since our last stay in 2019 and are greatly improved. The closet area provided ample storage and the shower room was large. We appreciated the space and amenities including hairdryer, iron and board, fridge and coffee maker. The TV area also has great storage and there was a large selection of channels. The only drawback to the room was the air conditioning noise so I used silicone ear plugs to sleep. We didn’t use many of the facilities except the gymnasium - regrettably the 2 running machines were both out of service. The pool is very small and could be noisy if your room overlooks. There are plenty of parking spaces and the location is excellent, very handy for The Calabasas Commons (a beautiful, landscaped area with a great selection of coffee shops, restaurants and stores), Malibu beaches (30 mins drive) and 405 highway. The housekeeping staff did a great job and always said hello in the corridors which was really nice. The complimentary, individually wrapped cookies at the lobby were delicious and a very welcoming touch. I have had great stays in this hotel and would unreservedly recommend to friends.

The location of the hotel is not bad. There is a very good restaurant downstairs from the Hotel Indigo in the central area of ​​Los Angeles. The environment of the hotel is also very good. The transportation around the hotel is very convenient. It is close to everywhere. It is not bad, but the parking fee needs to be paid separately.

At ten o 'clock in the morning, the attendant knocked on the door and asked if we needed to check out and clean the room. This will wake us straight from sleep. When we needed an extra bottle of mineral water, we were told that the check-out time was only ten minutes away, so we could not be provided with extra water.

Checking in the hotel was a breeze. Rudy was very helpful and provided all the information needed for my overnight stay at the hotel. The king suite room was clean and had all basic amenities. I was given free bottled water for being a member of Hilton. Breakfast was great! The best thing was that Trader Joe’s was literally just steps away! I would stay at this hotel again.

The K mattress & pillows were very comfortable. The room was very spacious & quiet. Cynthia from front desk was very accommodating for my request & had a great stay. The staff were friendly, courteous & efficient. The gated covered parking came in handy for the storm & I appreciate they have 3 well functioning luggage carts for guest use. Gateway Towne Center is within walking, 1 block to Best Buy, Marshalls, etc.

The hotel room is big and clean The breakfast is average, but it is too far away from Hollywood and there is a traffic jam. It takes two hours to drive back and forth every day

I have written about this hotel chain various time before and I will continue to do so only because they are the Best Hotel Chain. I look at them as a business partner because of them taking care of me I’m able to do what I need to with my clientele and that to me is worth more than anything else. In business you are only as good as you are able to keep your clients happy and Hilton makes it super easy for me to keep my clients very happy. I was so pleased with the facilities - very unique layout of the hotel, kind of a fun and mysterious experience to explore the property and gain my bearings. I get a little tired of the typical hotel layout - it's always exciting to get a unique setup like this one. The hotel has been in business since 1969 but has obviously been completely redone, probably multiple times since then because it feels so fresh and new. There wasn't anything that felt old or stale - the entire room felt so clean and new, I highly recommend for germaphobes like myself. I felt very comfortable here. More than anything, I was so moved by the customer service. Being a semi-frequent guest of hotels all over, I've come to learn that lowering my expectations before checking in at most places will prepare me for the inevitable disappointment - haha. BUT this was not the case here - the gentleman who checked me in was beyond friendly and helpful, I felt so touched by the personal effort he clearly put into ensuring my check-in experience was special. I will remember that for a long time. The lady who assisted me in the evening with a small purchase in the lobby and adding my rewards number to the reservation was also very friendly and not in a forced or ingrnuine way. I truly felt her kindness, both, through the phone, and over the counter. She went above and beyond to make me feel valued as a guest/customer and associates like her and her coworker who checked me in just don't go easily forgotten in my book. The guest service and unique experience you're sure to have when you stay here are what set this hotel apart from the rest. I absolutely recommend if you're in the area. What a lovely place for anyone to come visit but still feel right at home. :)
