Title: Great Historic Charm but Noisy Rooms I recently stayed at this hotel, which is housed in a beautiful 16th-century building that once belonged to the governor of Hispaniola. The historic charm is undeniable, and the interior has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. However, my room faced the main road and the port, which meant a lot of noise and exhaust fumes from traffic. Unfortunately, the windows did not provide sufficient sound insulation, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. On the bright side, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic—great variety and quality. If you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend requesting a room facing the courtyard.

Noise in the nights

I booked this hotel on purpose. The hotel has a long history and a good location. I booked a deluxe king-size bed this time. The front desk service was very enthusiastic. What attracted us most was the beautiful scenery outside the window. The hotel service is a plus, the swimming pool is also a plus, the front desk and lobby concierge services are particularly good, it is a special trip. Satisfied, satisfied
