Fantastic hotel nothing is too much trouble Tassos was always happy to help as was George and Eddie, nothing was too much trouble even took us to the open air cinema and picked us up fabulous place will definitely be back 😀 beautiful views from the balcony well worth the uphill climb....

Great hotel run by a lovely family. Although rooms are dated they are exceptionally clean, the cleaners came daily. Amazing views from our room 517. No fighting over sunbeds, lovely pool bar serving great food and drinks. Eddie the barman can make great cocktails. Our first visit to Santorini but it won’t be our last.

AMAZING PLACE. Pool area so chilled and relaxing. Plenty of sunbeds. Bar open early every day til late. Tassos is brilliant. So friendly and helps you to learn Greek. Cannot do enough for you. Also Eddie the barman. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The whole family are so lovely. Even picked us up from the supermarket and took us to and from the open air cinema. You will not be disappointed. Absolutely brilliant holiday and the nicest people you will ever meet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I will definitely be going back

Just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. It was so chilled and relaxed, nothing was any trouble. Staff were friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day. They were very spacious and shower was powerful. Had an amazing view over the Aegean and got up to watch the sunrise every morning, which was spectacular. We had not been to Greece before but this is what I imagined an authentic Greek hotel to be. Pool was lovely and there was no fighting over sun beds. Food was very good and reasonably priced, cheaper than many of the restaurants in town. Eddie at the bar was great, and so was George. All staff were in fact. We loved Kamari, it's very friendly and relaxed. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants. We loved Soul Splash and Mango on the front. Open air cinema was a great experience. Buses to Fira/Oia are frequent. The sunset is best seen from a boat as the streets of Oia are so busy. Great holiday, would definitely go back.

Arrived at the hotel and was dropped right at the bottom of the hill. We had 7 large cases and 3 children in midday heat and was not ideal. Not the hotels fault but something to be aware of when booking transfers. Staff where all really welcoming and took bags to the room. Rooms a little dated but very clean and towels and bedding changed daily. Shampoo body wash etc left in rooms daily. View was stunning. About 10 minute walk to the main ***** of bars and restaurants again a really steep hill going upwards back to hotel so would not recommend for people with mobility issues or prams etc. Pool was always quiet and aways loungers available. Drinks and food was okay. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price but we ate one day and it was okay, nothing wonderful, we opted to go into town for a breakfast which was cheaper. Staff where very helpful and accommodating and cannot fault them. Another member of our party had to change rooms at one point as the shower head fell from the ceiling onto my daughters head which was really dangerous but staff happily moved them to another room with no fuss. Rooms definitely need an update and I’d then say it would be more of a 4/5* hotel. Has alot of potential to be beautiful and very up market.

This is the second time we have stayed here (first in 2012 without kids), just like the first time, from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms are fantastic and have been upgraded since we were last there. Everyone at the hotel truly wants you to have a fantastic holiday. We will be returning.

What a gem! Stayed at the Aegean View with friends for 5 nights in August. Arrived in the early hours, escorted to our room and offered water. Amazing views from the hotel, great location (not great if you have mobility issues as situated up a slight hill) with easy access to the beach, tavernas, shops and bars. The hotel staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful and put the hotel guests first. The buffet breakfast was perfect and the bar menu was great for snacks. Would definitely recommend and definitely return. Only downside (which is not the hotel's fault) is that the sun disappears behind the mountain around 5pm.
