Days Inn by Wyndham Sarnia Harbourfront ★★★
"We had an enjoyable stay. The hotel was better than we expected. Thank yu."
The Insignia Hotel, Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel ★★★★
"It was nice and clean hotel. Maybe just needs little tlc as there are a few things falling apart. Overall great place if it’s decently priced."
East Court Motel ★
"We booked this motel based on past reviews. We were not expecting perfection but something a little better than we got. When we checked in, the staff had upgraded us to a room with a king bed instead of a queen. That was very nice. We were assigned Room #2. The first thing we noticed was the smell, it seems like someone had been smoking in the room. It was very dark paint on the walls which made it seem dingy. While the room seems clean there was no night table lamps, which made the walk from the light switch by the entrance door to the bed a perilous journey after turning the light out. This is an older motel so there was no desk top plug ins for charging phones so had to put them on the floor. The bathroom while it seemed renovated and clean did have mold around the corners between the shower stall and toilet. There is no fan in the bathroom so after a shower the mirrors are totally fogged up, the only option is to open the window which makes things kind of chilly in the winter. Staff were very pleasant. Will not stay here again."
Super 8 by Wyndham Sarnia on ★★
"2 mins walk to lake front. McDonald’s is crossed the street. it’s a great location for traveling . Other than that, average motel no surprise."
Faulds Motel ★★
maison blanche luxury retreat ★★★★
2 BATHROOM Executive Cottage with Office ★★★★
Bluewater Motel ★★
"First and foremost, I am not a fan of motels because of incidences I have encountered in the past. But, Sarnia hotels are extremely expensive for a small city. The reason is that there are not a wide variety of hotels, so they can charge whatever they want and people still pay it. So, we decided on the Bluewater Motel. Yes, It is dated. Yes, the beds were extremely firm. But I would much prefer that to mysteriously saggy. But the main thing was that the room was very clean. We had the kitchenette which had a full size fridge and gas stove and sink which were all spotlessly clean. the WIFI was free and worked well. The motel was very quiet. The pool looked clean. I had absolutely no problem with water in the room. Hot and cold worked fine. I believe the man in charge of the motel has a very keen eye for any potential security issues. He was very pleasant and his wife ( I believe) was over the top when it came to be welcoming to the motel. If you want a clean and affordable place to stay in Sarnia and do not mind motels. I will recommend it."
The Gables Inn ★★
"Worst hotel it was full of spiders I had to clean it, the pipe was sticking out of the shower when we arrived and then they blamed us for pulling it out of the wall . Which would be impossible and kept our deposit . The pool is a hole in the ground not even water . Thank God we brought our own lawn chairs to sit outside . A crack head approached us one night to find out if we had any ***** to share . I am thinking it is a ********* hotel . Very ghetto"
