"Ananya Lipe is situated right next to the pier, about three minutes walk away. Upon arrival at the pier, there was a staff waiting for us to help with our luggage. Check in was smooth and we were served with the welcome drink. Room is clean, big and as advertised. Vast options for breakfast."

"A great resort with good setup inside, and direct beach access. Room is standard for the island, expect 3-star standard. However the staff members are not very friendly. When I went to ask them questions, they basically questioned me why I do not know where to find things etc. Weird. The staff members at the bar/restaurant area were even rude. Funny though that when several white European guests approach them, they are much more friendly, smiling and asking how their visit has been. When I approached them, they just looked at me with no smile: “what do you want?”"

"I little slice of paradise on beautiful Sunrise beach. The pool, with lots of nooks, crannies and little islands of beautifully kept vegetation, is the star attraction. The high roofed traditional style rooms featuring lots of teak wood are beautiful too. I found the Poolside rooms at the back of the resort more comfortable than the bungalows at the front, with a big desk (which the bungalows didnt have, if you need to work) and sofa. More spacious, although someone needs deal with the cockrel that does its best not to let you sleep past sunrise. Breakfast and food in general was good. The pad thai was delicious. Highly recommended."

"Summary: the hotel charged heavily for it, but didn't live up to its 5-star rating, rather a 3-star. Main reasons: Maintance not enough, everything seemed worn and in need of repair. Beds (round) were terrible, very hard and the round shape is useless for a tall person. Pillows were the worst. Pool wasn't kept clean and also not full, so not infinity , as intended and described. First few days the phone wasn't working, so didn't feel secure, in case of emergency. The style of the restaurant wasn't attractive in comparison with others on the island. Also missing spa/gym/massage offers, not in Thailand. No body lotion in the bathroom, not OK for a premium hotel. Wrong instruction for the safe. Positive: the staff, very friendly and helpful, but some seemed not trained enough for a 5-star hotel. Location and the beach was amazing. Breakfast and laundry service was good. Nice layout of the villa. Loved to have our own pool and secluded beach area."

"I stayed at Irene Resort Koh Lipe in two different room types. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool was disappointing for a hotel of this level – the water was warm and not very clean. The service was excellent, especially Mer at reception and Fahita in the dining room (hope I spelled her name correctly). Both were outstanding and very professional."

The room was spacious and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to unwind. I especially loved having breakfast with a stunning blue sea view—a beautiful way to start the day. The entire landscape around the resort is beautifully maintained, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. Another big plus is that the hotel is very close to the immigration area, which is convenient for travelers. Overall, Bundhaya Villa is a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it."

Had an enjoyable stay for 3 days 2 nights with the breakfast freshly prepared (inclusive of halal options), luggage pick-up fro and to the pier and the hotel went above and beyond by assisting to book the van and boat to the island for me. All in all, 10/10 experience for me except the resort is not really a stone’s throw away from the walking street but hey the view made up for it hehehehe"
