"Can’t tell you enough how we adore this hotel, come with a group of friends and they are already recommending it for a repeat list for future honeymoon trip. The hospitality is top notch, breakfast buffet is great and even the cheapest room has free snack bar and amazing view of the swimming pool. The only downside is that we come during monsoon season so we couldn’t enjoy the pool 😭
Everything else is a 5 star review for me!!"

Great
GGuest UserFrom the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!!
Pros:
- Stunning location
- Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic!
- Great breakfast selection
- Food available all day
- Clean
- Staff helpful and friendly
- Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free
- Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing
- Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!)
- Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas
Cons:
- One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists
- No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in)
- No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away)
- Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs)
We would most certainly stay here again!
FFlyHighNowToday25We stayed one night and mostly relaxing at the place. Excellent location, on sunrise beach and then can walk to sunset beach in the evening which is nearby, less crowded beach. Service by the hotel staff is also excellent 😁 The breakfast and lunch we ordered was good..
Although do think they should make it adult only hotel as kids in the other villas during the day can be noisy which can’t be avoided. Otherwise Great for couples for special occasion or a romantic getaway 👍🏼
BBecca5991Truely 5 star resort in Koh Lipe. Surrounding by nature and view of sea with a blue sky and a little swimming pool that just for you. What can I say. We deeply love it. Just take a look at the photo and you will know what Ive experienced. Services, staff all is top tier. And the breakfast is delicious.
SSteph LightfootWe stayed in the new deluxe garden room and it was perfect! Everything was clean, we had a lot of space and everything we needed. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We got collected from the ferry and dropped back off at the end of our stay which was great. The location is perfect right on the beach and only around 15 minute walk to the walking street. The walk felt completely safe but could get a taxi. The hotel offers a shuttle in the evening also. Lovely hotel would definitely love to visit again 😊
Lleraglobetrotter05Lipe Garden Beach Resort stands out not only for its stunning location but also for its exceptional staff, who truly make the experience unforgettable. From the moment you arrive at the pier, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a sense of hospitality that feels personal and genuine. The staff helps carry your luggage to the resort, making the journey from the pier to the resort effortless and welcoming. This thoughtful touch is just one example of the kind of care and attention you’ll experience throughout your stay.
The service at Lipe Garden is consistently excellent, with the staff always ready to assist with any request—whether it’s arranging a tour, offering local recommendations, or simply making sure you’re comfortable. Their friendly, attentive nature makes you feel right at home.
The resort offers a simple but delicious breakfast that’s served with a view that’s hard to beat.
Whether you’re enjoying the hospitality or savoring your breakfast with the sea breeze, Lipe Garden Beach Resort ensures a tranquil, stress-free stay with a personal touch that elevates your experience.
AAnonymous UserThis place has perfect location, nearest to the most comfortable beach and no long boat mooring in the front sea. However, the room was not quite satisfactory. The air con and fridge could be a bit noisy during the night. The room floor is slightly tilted. The lighting was insufficient and a little dark in the day time. These won’t be a problem if you don’t stay indoors much. The stuff there were very helpful. Would book Bella Vista again, but not this room type.
AAivlysssInitially, I was impressed by the lush greenery and the serene atmosphere as I stepped into the villa. The overall ambiance was pleasant. Although I had booked a sea view room for my first time, I realized that the sea was not directly in front of my room as expected. Nonetheless, I could still catch a glimpse of the sea, so it was acceptable.
Regarding the room facilities, I found that the air conditioning wasn't sufficiently cooling despite setting it to the lowest temperature. Given the extreme heat in Koh Lipe, I had anticipated a cooler room environment. Another aspect to mention is that the villa provided only two small bottles of water per room. When I requested additional bottles at the front desk, I was surprised to learn that they were available at their mart and i could actually purchase on my own.
I also observed that the pathways outside the villa were somewhat hazardous, especially since the area is still under development. I wouldn't recommend walking through these areas due to the lack of lighting and uneven road conditions, with puddles of water present.
As for breakfast, there weren't many options available, and the staff seemed somewhat inattentive. Considering the room charges per night, I had expected a higher level of service. Despite these issues, I still managed to enjoy my stay overall.
JJacqueline DrysdaleI little slice of paradise on beautiful Sunrise beach. The pool, with lots of nooks, crannies and little islands of beautifully kept vegetation, is the star attraction. The high roofed traditional style rooms featuring lots of teak wood are beautiful too. I found the Poolside rooms at the back of the resort more comfortable than the bungalows at the front, with a big desk (which the bungalows didnt have, if you need to work) and sofa. More spacious, although someone needs deal with the cockrel that does its best not to let you sleep past sunrise.
Breakfast and food in general was good. The pad thai was delicious.
Highly recommended.
GGuest UserHappy to Stay here!
It's accommodation that truly gives you the feeling of being immersed in nature. The architecture is beautifully designed and harmonizes with the surroundings, creating a sense of peace and seclusion — truly fitting for the name ”Cast Away.”
The staff provide excellent service. It's safe for solo travelers, and I made some lovely new friends. However, it's not suitable for those who are sensitive to heat, as there is no air conditioning
🤍🤍🤍
GGuest UserVery helpful staff, breakfast buffet ok, room nice and big, with fridge and heated balcony for drying clothes etc.
Location right next to Walking Street on the beach.
But, the beach outside the hotel is full of boats, people waiting for the ferries etc, so not very nice and no beach chairs, BIG minus for us.
