This was my second visit to Jungle Safari Resort, and it was just as great as my first one (actually, it was even better with their new pool). I had a friend with me this time, and from the start Sangam and his team showed us great hospitality and flexibility both during our stay, as well as with organising the itinerary pre-arrival. The rooms were great and the food (especially our packed lunches) was delicious. We had Gopal with us to guide on our safaris - his kind personality, expertise and enthusiasm made every day very enjoyable and educational, I would highly recommend him (and jungle safari resorts). I hope to one day come back for a third time.

Travelled solo to Chitwan. I was assisted with all the booking and transport by Mr Sangam, who was incredibly helpful and stayed in constant touch, including the transport back to Kathmandu. The resort itself is very comfortable, with complete amenities. It’s walking distance to the main town and yet still in a quieter area away from all the hustle and bustle. I opted for full board and meals, which were tasty and catered per request. I chose to stay for 3 days and 2 nights. The staff were friendly and very obliging. My guide Mr Gopal was very knowledgable and we had 2 wonderful jungle walks together. I highly recommend asking for him if he is available. The jeep safari was the highlight of the trip. All in all, a wonderful stay. I recommend staying longer as there is so much more to see. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in Chitwan then Jungle Safari Resort is the place to stay. The large, modern rooms have wide terraces overlooking the tropical gardens and the new swimming pool area. The guides they have available have more than 25 years experience - my guide Gopal was an excellent birder and we saw around 120 birds in a couple of days, along with the mammal species the area is know for.

What a day that exceeded all expectations! We did a full day private Jeep tour (which was significantly cheaper than our hotels rate) and it was worth every penny. Thanks to Gopal, our knowledgeable guide who has 25 years of experience, we learned and saw more than I could ever imagine. He knew every bird and animal, their calls and behaviors, even spotting tiger tracks. He is an enthusiastic and dedicated guide, and it is clear he is passionate about what he does. The highlight was seeing two tigers, one extremely close and staying by us for awhile. We also had up close encounters with rhinos, sloth bears, boars, elephants, and many rare birds. Thanks to Gopal and our incredible driver Som (who was also spotting animals with an eagle eye and also took great photos of the tiger I posted), we were set up for success. They did not rush the tour, but instead made sure we had every opportunity to view wildlife. I highly recommend taking a tour with them, it was an experience I will never forget.

We came to Chitwan to see the jungle and experience nature. We did not spend too much time at the hotel but we took advantage of the trips to the jungle - whole day jeep trip ( fantastic experience! Have seen a lot of bird species, rhinos, deer, crocs etc) we also stayed in the jungle for two nights. Our guide Hamantha was very knowledgeable and happy to show us all of the interesting places. The hotel staff also provided a small birthday cake for me when in the jungle. Overall a beautiful experience

The manager, Sangam, was very reactive via Whatsapp from the start. He always answered very quickly and clearly. From the moment we arrived, everybody was very helpful and kind. All our trips into the jungle were booked for us and the food was delicious. The rooms had AC and were very clean and cosy. The swimming pool in the beautiful green garden was perfect for spending our free time. Our guide for Chitwan, Gopal, was excellent as well. He was very passionate about nature and had a lot of knowledge and experience. We could really tell he loved his job! Gopal also gave us good advice about which safari to do and assisted us in spotting a lot of animals, including 8 Rhino’s. Jungle safari resort was a wonderful experience for us!
