"If you don't rent a car yourself, it's better not to book it. It's far from the center, and it's a big uphill. It's very tiring to walk with luggage. It's not very convenient to take a taxi. If you want to book a car, it's best to book it one day in advance~
If you don't speak English, it's better not to book it. The cabin is unmanaged. When you walk in, there is no window in one room, and one wash basin is removed. I thought it was closed and abandoned~ I called to tell which room it was, and then I went in to get the key~
If you are worried about safety, it's better not to book it. It depends on luck whether the door lock is locked. We locked the door at night and found that it could be opened easily the next morning~
If you don't care about the above three points and don't have high requirements for accommodation conditions, the cabin is mainly cheap, with hot water and heating, right at the foot of the snow mountain, and the environment is still great~ Of course, the wooden cabins here are all very good. It is recommended to choose one close to the center~ Convenient transportation, food and drink~"

"The hotel room itself was honestly quite mediocre. Both the room and the bathroom were tiny. We paid over 2000 (and even upgraded to a mountain-view room!), yet the facilities definitely didn't justify the price. However, what truly makes this hotel special (and pricey) is its absolutely stunning view. You get an unobstructed, panoramic vista of the mountains opposite, and you can even spot the church on the hilltop. Especially as evening descends, dining and chatting at the outdoor restaurant was incredibly comfortable. What's more, the restaurant was surprisingly affordable and delicious. This was particularly evident because earlier we had tried sushi from a shop outside the hotel, which was both overpriced and awful. Suddenly, the hotel's food tasted heavenly! My son even ”cried tears of joy” over his burger."

"The views are stunning. The hotel has a very nice restaurant, apparently a favorite in this village. We stayed in mid-May and decided to go there for dinner. It turned out it was the restaurant's first day of operation, as the season hadn't really started yet, but it's worth noting that every table was full. Many foreigners chose this place. When we arrived in the center of Stepantsminda, the taxi driver offered to take us to the hotel for 15 lari. Knowing Tbilisi taxi prices, we thought this was very expensive and bargained down to 10. But when we left and called a taxi, we still ended up paying 15 lari."

"Very, very perfect hotel. It is also a very, very new hotel. No one has ever stayed in room 201 before we stayed. The room is very, very clean, and the bedding and quilts are very good. You can see Mount Kazbek from the balcony of each room. It is really lucky to find this hotel. The homestays opposite Mount Kazbek are basically on a hillside. The old-fashioned online celebrity hotel rooms that I wanted to book are at the top of the hillside. But the higher you live, the farther you are from the city, which is not very convenient, and I think the location of the room is relatively biased. This hotel is located at 2/3 of the hillside, which is enough for you to see all the scenery of Kazbek without any obstruction, and it is not too far from the city center, and you can walk there. The room is also larger than the Room and is equipped with a drying radiator. If I have to say a problem, it is that this hotel is newly opened and its location has not been updated on the map. You can call the hotel before going. The hotel's housekeeper is very, very enthusiastic. Every time I go downstairs, he will take the initiative to greet me and ask about my needs. The hotel's breakfast is also very good. In short, it is a very cost-effective choice."

"The hotel in the small town of Kazbeki is located on the hillside and the Kazbek Mountain is far away. Checking in on the evening of September 22, the hotel is a single building, standardized rooms and facilities, simple and bright, the weather is cold, but the floor heating is warm. Breakfast is specially prepared for four of us, which is great! There are parking spaces and elevators. Recommended stay."

Everything worked fine and I had no problem during my stay, but don't expect a luxury accomodation or you will be disappointed. The lady who welcomed me was nice and helpful. I'll recommend this place, I had a really nice stay here."

"We were traveling from Georgia to Russia and needed a hotel before the border crossing so we could spend the night, shower, have breakfast, freshen up, and then cross the border safely in the morning. The hotel was perfect for all of this. We arrived late in the evening and were checked in quickly. It's a shame the receptionist didn't speak Russian (oh well). The room was warm, the bed was comfortable, and there was hot water—what else could you want?
We woke up in the morning to a stunning view from the window—mountains, snow, and more mountains!
The breakfast was wonderful; it seemed we were the only guests that day; they prepared it especially for us. We asked for some lunchboxes for the trip, and they gave us a ton of extra food—superb!
The only downside is that there's no power outlet outside; we were driving an electric car, so it would have been useful. A 220V outlet would cost $10."

"This was the first guesthouse I chose in Kazbekistan. The location was actually quite good; it was very close to the minibus station and other public transportation hubs, about a 10-minute walk. There was also a market nearby, seemingly unremarkable from the outside, perched on a high platform. Many tourists bought food and water there because there weren't many restaurants, making it difficult to choose. The main advantage was the location. Lying in bed watching the sky slowly turn red and rise was incredibly pleasant.
This place didn't have an elevator, and the soundproofing was terrible. With guests checking in at night and early risers in the morning, you could hear a lot of noise, waking me up. You can't expect too much from a guesthouse."
