"I live in Japan and travel there a lot. I spent four nights in this hotel, which claims to be eco-friendly, but like other hotels recently, uses this as a pretext to cut costs. Indeed, the room was only cleaned once, and the disposable toothbrushes provided on the first day were only replaced a second time during the entire stay. The sheets were never changed, and the bed was made only once. The used towels weren't collected daily. Is offering disposable toothbrushes conceivable with a supposed commitment to environmental responsibility? No. Does not making the bed have anything to do with this so-called environmental responsibility? No. Offering a smoking room near the reception area that reeks of smoke in the hotel entrance... is that eco-friendly? No. Is it respectful of non-smokers? No."

She helped us communicate and translate with the police, ensuring that we could clearly explain the situation and receive assistance. Her help was truly invaluable in getting us safely rescued. In addition, the hotel manager and staffs generously drove us from the police station back to the hotel and assisted us with the necessary follow-up arrangements. Their patience, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond their duties meant so much to us. We are truly grateful for the care and support we received. It has been a blessing to be guests at Oosado Hotel, and we will always remember your kindness."

"I stayed here on my first trip to Sado. I booked this hotel because it was adjacent to Sado's famous Futatsugame and had good reviews. Unfortunately, all reservations with dinner were full, so I stayed here without meals. The hotel is wide and faces the sea (Futatsugame), and the view from the lobby and the rooms is great, so it was very open and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, the bath was comfortable, and there were a wide variety of room and bath amenities. It's not a fancy hotel, but I had a very comfortable stay. As stated on the website, there are no convenience stores or restaurants near the hotel, so if you don't have a plan that includes meals, you have to bring something with you or eat before you go. If you want to go out to eat after checking in at the hotel, it takes about an hour to go anywhere, which is inconvenient, but if you know in advance, you can either eat before you go or buy something to bring with you, so it's not a problem. The starry sky at night was also a spectacular view from the room. Time flows at a leisurely pace, and this is the perfect hotel to experience something out of the ordinary. I'd love to stay here again! I highly recommend this hotel."

"Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Especially, the white rice for breakfast, the seaweed shabu-shabu and sado milk were delicious. The room I stayed in was near the elevator hall and it was one day of the event in sado, so I thought I was worried about the sound, but I slept well until morning. I thought it was thanks to the soundproofing of the hotel, or thanks to the manners of 々 who stayed."

"A standard Japanese-style hot spring hotel, breakfast and dinner are included. It is recommended to make an appointment at the front desk for transfer to Ryotsu Port. I can walk with my suitcase for half an hour without any problem. The room has a refrigerator, safe, toilet and bathtub. There is Lawson nearby, a 10-minute walk away. Sado only has Lawson, not FamilyMart or 7-11. I am very satisfied with this trip. Want to come again"
